After he clipped the rig I got straight out of course but already he was too far away to get the number. He slowed down (as he obvs realised he'd hit me) then sped off. If I had a dash cam, I would have had his number.
Andrew Ditton What a bastard! Somebody did something similar to me in John O'Groats harbour carpark a few years ago. I'd just stopped for a cuppa and, when I got back to the car, the near-side wing mirror was hanging off and a dirty big scratch down the near-side rear door. My guess is the driver had put it into reverse by mistake and pranged me. Never left a note, of course! Sounds like the dash cam is definitely the way to go...
