column size is 350mm*2750mm. 34 bars of 20mm dia are vertical bars . cover is 75mm. Stirups bars are of 8mm dia. Master ring is easy to calculate but i m having problems with link bars. So plz tell me how to calculate Cutting length of link bars in column. There are 3 rings in which 4 bars are set i.e 12 vertical bars are in 3 rings and 3 vertical bars are in one ring. Total 15 and Master ring includes 2 vertical bars . Total 17 and similarly 17 bars on others sides.

51d = 51*16= 816 mm hoga . Par apne 306 liya h. In case Mera development length Ld middle portion se jayad ho jayega to kya karenge . Jaise Floor height 3 m h Mera dia of bar 20 mm h aur Ld = 51*20 = 1020 mm then Mera overlapping support side me chala jayega . Is case me kya karenge
We have taken Tue beam at bout 5ft from footing and pn above of tie beam we have taken plinth bem of 5ft ... But due to improper planing at start we are getting lap joint between Tie bem and plinth beam .. is that allowed??
Sir I had took 6 ft below ground for footing and 4,5,6 ft steel above the ground . Now I overlapped the steel on ground floor and also given joggle. Sir mujhe g+4 banana hain kyonki maine ground floor pe lapping diya hain toh isse farak toh nai padega na. My all pillar size is 9*18 . Baaki main aur strong karne ke liye lapping ko welding Kara du kya. Pls answer sir
Sir agr hamra Design mix me OPC 53 cement use kiya gya but kya me PPC cement used kr sakta hu column concrete k liye OPC 53 ki jagej p....kya strength p column k kuch farak parta hai kya
Nahi bilkul nahi. PPC cement me pozzolona material mix hota hai to uski strength OPC 53 se kam ayegi aur agar cement ki strength kam ayi to concrete ki bhi kam ayegi..agar ap chaho to design mix me flyash add kar sakte ho usse cement ka consumption kam ho jayega. PPC use karne se pehle uski strength check karo kitni aarahi hai agar opc53 jitni hai to it's ok..lekin yaad rakhna initial strength 70% bohot late ati hai PPC ki.
Badi site hogi to unka ek alag dept hoga billing ya QS with special staff who are experienced in this. Usually contractor is responsible for making the BBbs and client certifies it.
Clear Height between plinth beam top and roof beam bottom-11 feets Zone-A-11/4=33 inches Zone-B-11*12-66=132 -66=66 inches There are 6 bars 16mm@4,12mm@2 At zone B top- 2 no of lappings At zone B middle(30 inch below top lapping points)-3 no of lapping At Zone B bottom (30 inch below middle lap point)-1 lapping Whether the above arrangement is allowble? Whether lintel tie beam can be provided any zone? What if lintel tie beam falls on zone-A top area?

Is 7 mt bar cutting length is allowable. As per rule it should be 4 mt only?

isnt that bent up portion is called staggered portion or staggered and lapped portion mean the same?
Yes but staggered lapping means not all the lap should come at same levels.

51d=51x16=816m=0.816 mt .I think this is the correct calculation .you have shown this as 306 mm=0.306 mt. This totaly wrong.
