Salam dear sami As i watch from your RUclips the information is practical use and it is good May i ask you if you give us complete design for a house from slab to footing
I have planned to construct two separate rooms like 20*10 ( ground floor with 10*14 room size at first floor) & 22.5*10 (only ground floor) . My engineer suggested RCC is as follows. Pls tell it correct or not. Basement level of 22.5*10 is 2 feet less than 20*10 room 1. For 20*10 - 6 columns of 12*4 with 8mm stirr up of 7 inch c/c - four at each corner and remaining two at spacing of 8 feet at one end and 11 ft at other end. Plinth beam with 1.5 feet height and 9*9 (l*b). Ceiling height is 10 feet. Planned tie beam at below windows (2.5 feet) and lintel (7 feet) of 6 inch rcc 2. For 22.5*10 - 6 columns of 12*4 with 8mm stirr up of 7 inch c/c - four at each corner and remaining two at spacing of 10 feet at one end and 10 ft at other end. Plinth beam with 1 feet height and 9*9 (l*b). Ceiling height is 12 feet. Planned tie beam at below windows (4 feet) and lintel ( 8 feet) with 6 inch rcc And join the both room in ceiling and both room in 90 degree position to each other
you said ground floor beam, then first floor beam... The ground floor beam should be the plinth beam.. please explain keeping that in mind...with diagrams Jazakumullah Khair

Hello engineer i want to construct 5 storey residencial building ground floor will be parking, what is the size of the column and beam and how deep am i supposed to set the footing? , thanks for your time.
Prenume Nume de familie 0 seconds ago Hi there ! Small questions ! 1 Floor building project mix structural and masonry made from AAC 500-600kg/m3 Parietal beam. What is the difference between 30x30 and 25x36 columns sections in this case .Do you think are compatible using same amount of rebar inside ? I want to make as such that the beam size fits the masonry size that s way! What do you think ?and of course laying the orientation of the square angle one on x and one on y axes sequential !
Quite far from any code Would this 9"x12" beam design (with 2 D12mm bars at the base) support on a second floor the load of 30% of a 12'x12' slab and 9' high 6" block wall and residential Live load? Answer: nope.

What about the bending stress (which is max. at middle) at the middle of the horizontal beam.. shouldn't we strengthen the middle portion more?
Is it ok to reduce spacing of ties in column at center if there are lappings? I mean add more ties to support lapping area.
Sir,. i understand well .

Thank y ou u very much for this knowledge. My question is .can I provide a crank bar on a column since is more economical.??

Do the size of the steelbar depends on the space between columns.. For example, is 12 mm strong enough if the colunns are 15 ft apart?
i think it is enough for 5 meters as he discussed in the video
Please also tell the measurements in inches and suttar
After using 4 rods for the ground floor, can 6 rods be used for the first floor columns
Super bro
Good explanation
Could you tell Barbending schedule
Salam alaikum.i really enjoyed the teaching.please can you help us with real physical practical .? thanks
