- Today marked the beginning of a unique and challenging vlogging journey, navigating through the limitations posed by shooting restrictions. My first stop was none other than the awe-inspiring Potala Palace, perched majestically as the world's highest palace above sea level. Believe me, after witnessing the grandeur of Potala Palace, it's hard to imagine wanting to visit any other place.
This architectural masterpiece not only left me in awe of its sheer magnificence but also holds the esteemed title of being the highest seat of the Buddhist Religion. The spiritual ambiance and the history echoed in every corner made it a soul-stirring experience.
Following this, I ventured into a village approximately 30 kilometers away from Lhasa City. While it offered a different and enriching experience, there was a longing for a more raw connection with the locals. When travelers journey to Tibet, they seek to embrace culture and traditions up close, a facet that could have been better arranged by the travel agency.
The day concluded at the Jorkhang Temple in Lhasa, a place that brought the day's experiences full circle. As I immersed myself in the cultural tapestry of the temple, it became evident that the heart of any journey lies in connecting with the human stories and traditions that breathe life into a destination.
This vlog is a testament to the challenges faced and the unique encounters on this journey. Potala Palace set the bar high, and every step afterward was a quest to unearth the genuine essence of Tibet's culture and traditions, creating a vlog that resonates with the simplicity and humanity of each moment.

I will be making a complete vlog for the same. But for quick info, you need Chinese visa which happens within a weeks time. Secondly you can travel from anywhere to Tibet if commute is available, which is. Third Tibet permit is required which is provided by tour operators and preferably local tour operators for quick permit. But China visa is required. Rest you can travel from anywhere within China. I travelled from Chongqing in train. Which I have mentioned in my series
I'm sure it'll help and guide many of us who are interested to travel to Tibet. My other question is, how does the Tibet visa work? Is the Tibet visa valid only with the group tour? If supposedly we get 4 days group tour tickets and after 4 days, is our visa still valid to hang around ourselves? Please respond this in your next vlog if you can. It would be so helpful 🙏🙏🙏

No international airport is situated near there. If you want to trave to those region please go first Beijing or Hong Kong take a train to Lahsa city. This is the simple and cheap and easy option.
But you can't travel without any agent ...Chinese are afraid of history ..they don't let to travel alone anywhere ...
