  • Embarking on a captivating journey through Lhasa, Tibet, I eagerly share the enchanting tapestry of life in this mystical land. Despite certain restrictions, I successfully captured the essence of Tibet's rich culture and its resilient people. The lifestyle in Tibet stands in stark contrast to that of mainland China, as here, the spirit of Buddha permeates every aspect of daily life, echoing ancient rituals dating back over 2000 years.
    In this vlog, I take you on a mesmerizing tour of two significant monasteries, delving into the heart of Tibetan spirituality. The experience was nothing short of amazing as I witnessed the profound connection between the people and their centuries-old traditions.
    Throughout this unforgettable journey, my guiding light was Tibet Vista, a remarkable travel agency that made this exploration possible
    Join me as we uncover the treasures of this extraordinary land, where ancient rituals meet modern exploration, and the soul of Tibet comes alive through the lens of my adventures. Let the mystique of Tibet unfold before you, as we traverse through its landscapes, monasteries, and the beating heart of its people.

    Tibet name in itself may give you goose bumps like it did to me. Visiting Lhasa for very first time was definitely divine experience. Land of peace and Serenity and roof top of the world. We were blessed to have opportunity to witness something which was enclosed within Himalayan range. First while in train journey towards Lhasa and later with this 4days package tour with Tibet Vista tour operator…we visited monasteries and surrounding area and that maroon attire flaunting everywhere with smiles. I hope I could justify the dignity of the place. We Indians have special hearts for Tibet.

      So far it has been monastery after monastery. I feel the guide should take all of you to some of Tibet's most breathtaking landscapes and lakes. Monastery, temples, churches, mosque are interesting but after a while, they start to feel all the same, just a place of worship and more or less of same architecture. Nature is different.

      My friend you need to check history. We Indians never invaded anyone so far. And still people are with us willingly. Also just think if we start invading, which we avoid doing because that is not our culture. People have definitely tried their ends to invade our territory and which is proven history. and yes we all have flaws and that is excepted.

      India or British India is a fake country that were pieced together forcefully by means of invasion/enslavement of Princely states or sovereign countries within the Indian subcontinent (the British Raj). 🤭That is why so many countries and/or Princely states demanded independence and were consequently, partitioned🤭, when the British announced that they will be granting Independence to British India. Fact. Take a look at the "diversity" and ethnic race of their people? Do they share a common skin color + common history/heritage + common language both written and spoken + common sovereignty prior to the creation of British India? NO. 🤭 Take a look what India did to their neighboring countries after independence on 1947? Annexations by Independent India : 🤭🤣😂 Hint: Compare the map of British India versus the map of India on 1947 just after independence versus the map of current India?
      ---> 1947 Annexation of Kashmir
      ---> 1948 Annexation of Hyderabad

      The McMahon Line was first drafted in 1913, and the treaty to ratify them (Simla Accords) was never signed by the Republic Of China(ROC) who had just overthrown the Qing dynasty. There was no such thing as the McMahon Line in 1890, and China isn't disputing where the Line was drawn, she's disputing the validity of the Line in its entirety. The primary Indian claim is that the ROC did sign the Simla Accords because a British official called Olaf Caroe fabricated a narrative in 1938 where the ROC signed the Simla Accords (they didn't) and ceded parts of Tibet to the Raj.
      In 1963 a British diplomat compared a pre-1938 treaties compendium with the post-Caroe compendium and found that Caroe had changed the note on the ROC's not signing the Simla Accords into one where the ROC signed it and considers the Indo-Tibetan border finalised. Nehru picked up a copy of Caroe's fabricated compendium so he got the impression that his country was legally entitled to more than she actually was. Compounding this was the US' decision to add fuel to the flames by declaring the McMahon Line as the legitimate boundary in an attempt to contain the spread of communism, despite reservations from the US State Department and protests from the fiercely non-communist Chiang Kai-Shek, leader of the ROC.
      However, we all know Nehru irreversibly altered his country's relations with China in 1962, so by 1963, when the fabrication was discovered, it was already too late to stem the tide of Indian nationalism based on the false compendium entry. And that leaves us with the situation today, in the aftermath of a British attempt to de jure carve out a piece of Chinese territory which failed but had some success de facto, then a British fabrication of her failed attempt to carve out Chinese territory, then an Indian acceptance of the British fabrication alongside American endorsement, and a Chinese refusal to accept the fabrication as anything remotely legal.
      Some Indians recognise that they don't actually have a legal claim to South Tibet, so they've begun using a different claim in that the people living in South Tibet want to be part of India more than China; in essence, a claim based on the principle of self-determination. This is India's secondary claim. However, as history has shown time and time again (Catalonia, Confederate States, Taiwan, Corsica, Chechnya, Tibet, Naxalites), without the permission of the larger body, a smaller section of the population will not be allowed to separate from its original country regardless of what they want.
      A much more detailed account of the McMahon Line and its history is available here, written by Peter Lee who, contrary to impressions given by his surname, is not at all Chinese.

      Wtf is with us Indians and being so brainwashed by our Government and Western propaganda? Tibetans can travel freely. Those living in exile in India are descendants of serf owners, they aren't exactly "exiled" but ran away when CPC reformed Tibet and abolished slavery. Do you even know how the common Tibetans were living under the serfdom? They were being skinned alive and turned into maps or musical instruments. We were never taught any of these in our NCERT textbooks.

Receipts from Chinese stores are very highly legally binding because each city has a mayor hotline 12345. Once these hotlines receive your complaint, they will immediately contact the person in charge of these stores. After that, they will give you a satisfactory solutions quickly. For example ,not only offer you real 9999 gold, also they will provide you with satisfactory compensation or discounts If the government staffs find that their services or products have the problems you mentioned. So, there absolutely you will get the right products as long as you ask 24k 9999 gold. There is no need for stores to damage their reputations to do so in Tibet.

    Majority of the Chinese people are atheist. The Chinese government (being communist) is strictly anti religion. It forces people to keep their religion confined to their homes and restricted to specific places only. It never talks about religion, but people. However, it is remarkable to see how much they invest, how much energy they spend and how far they go to keep Tibetan traditions, culture alive and maintain their sanctity. They basically kept Tibet, as Tibet. It's the same government. The Tibetan people are an ethnic minority for China. Contrast this with India and how India behaves/deals with culture that does not align with their "ideology". Majority of Indians, if they can get their way, will erase everything that relates to a minority religion just because it's doesn't go with their culture. Difference between a developed country and under developed country.

Wasn't there a politician in Karnataka who objected to a bus stand design resembling middle Eastern architecture? It was demolished after he threatened.
