I loved all 3 windrummers from the novels. Alleria from the tides of darkness. Vereesa from the day of the dragon and sylvanas feom the missions from the frozen throne ä. But seems like allerie didnt get any character development at all.

He reminds me an awful lot of Oberon Martell from Game of Thrones. It suits the character perfectly.

Awesome story. Alleria was always my favorite of the three sisters, and now more so. She's a badass! Please do more stories like this Blizz.
It sounds like Alleria, not Illidan or Arator, is the Child of Light and Shadow, being touched by both, can call on both and uses her understanding of both to see the truth.

Teglariu Adelina That was just the high elves' way to spite the night elves culture of the moon, as the exiled Highborne began the faith for the sun. It has nothing to do with the holy light.

These as a companion to the expansion just like the small story art ones for WoD and throughout Legion have been AMAZING. For me at least, they really bring the story and the content together in a way more immersive and fun way. I. LOVE. THESE. THEY ARE INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE!
I just finished it all. It was truly amazing! No joke! Also to see that the void has this kind of power is scary. I fear we are going into something so evil and powerful. That we well need everything to even stand a chance.
Great writing for this really enjoyed it 10/10 glad to get the back story of these two.
42:32 "Pledge your obedience to the light" Excuse me? Xera basically just threatened her life if she didn't conform to obeying her. This solidifies that the Naaru should not be considered innately good. These things have motives that require control of us.
Tyler Scott Xe'ra is the only naaru we've seen acting like that. We have no reason not to trust A'dal for example.
The Locus-Walker sums up the alignments pretty much perfectly in this: "You have known the Shadow as nothing but horrors. The Shadow sees the Light in the same way. Neither viewpoint is true. Neither is wrong. The Light seeks one path and shuns all others as lies. The Shadow seeks every possible path and sees them all as truth."
and who says the light is good? the naaru are the embodiment of light same as the void lords are of the void, there's no good nor evil in their eternal struggle ... on the other hand, from a human perspective, the light is certainly the true enemy

I wouldn't go so far as to say the light is the true enemy. The fact that the shadow sees all paths as true is pretty cool, but it's also just screaming chaos. I know they can't exist together, but I sort of hope we'll find a balance in the end. I mean, look at shadow priests, they use both light and shadow and that's okay. I don't see why that can't be true for the rest of the world. Shadow can give us the power to overcome anything, light can keep the madness at bay, right?

Balance is the true path. Both of Light and Shadow. The Naaru and the Void are blinded and can not see what we see. We know that there must be Balance, Balance will save our world and the many worlds beyond from the Legion's hellfire.

Just a shame this came out so late. I have a paladin and had Lothraxion in my order hall for months and it's first now I have some respect for him other than just his unique appearance.

Wow. This is...actually some pretty good ideas for lore. I was afraid WoW would turn into a generic Light vs Darkness fantasy story, but Blizzard has Incorporated some really exciting ideas into their lore. Well done.

As far as i understand it after watching this story-trilogy.
Being 100% of either Void or Light gives and takes its share. But 50% Void and 50% Light merged together gives 100% truth and neutrality..this is the path Alleria is currently walking. Once she has fully embraced both Light and Void she will see things neither of the two can alone. As she will stand in a place of both neutrality and truth....Shall we call it.... "Reallity"
To me it seems as if they are telling us that Void is not necessarily Evil, neither is Light necessarily good.
They are ultimate powers that create the existence of Reallity. Without either of the two there would be nothing. And untimately the very end of everything in WOW's history, will be the final battle between Light and Void...a battle nobody will emerge victorious.
And therefore there will never be an end, there will never be a "Happily ever after", there will allways be a conflict between The Light and The Void, and Reallity will allways be caught in the middle of that conflict, cleaning it up.

I loved this as much as i loved Gul'dans one.. But i must admit.. I do prefer Gul'dans one since Gul'dan is my favourite villan in WoW.. I love that this one is Light and Shadow based, i think that is WoW's kind of core element of epicness, Wotlk and Legion both play on it, both are amazing expansions :)
