It’s great that I’ve come across a channel that’s about a guy who loves the great outdoors, showing off his adventures, no editing bullshit, straight from the recorder and showing the real treacherous mountainous conditions, it provides. As I can see, I’m well late to the show and now I’ve got something to watch everyday now. Hopefully, in the near future I can do similar activities.
Fair play to you ma boi.. resfreshing change this channel with a large focus on your surroundings rather than making it all about the gear, keep it real ma boi 🤙🏽
Another great video. Did not look easy to get to the summit. Thought you were lucky when going over on your ankle as that could of been lethal. Good job you had your Syrup Oats .
@#goodblokeoutdoors well done good bloke.. glad you left the blooper in... it shows that not matter our experience or lack of,, one little trip on some uneven ground can ruin the trip... was it lack of concentration???
Hi Liam, it looked a great camp. Can I ask what rucksack you use, I’m waiting you pulling a rabbit out of it some week 😂. I’m buzzing for your next video 👍.
What a great camp and another epic hike. Steak, potatoes and mayo, just top scran. And then you add custard and brownies which qualifies you as an official legend! Bang tidy proper man food, well done fella! Love the channel, keep up the good work! 💪💪💪😎👍
One of your finest young man, you must know that place like the back of your hand, I like the end where you say "I survived the night as the highest person in England" but earlier you nearly broke your neck walking back down, I know it's not funny but I had to laugh, you went down like a wounded wildebeest. Try and stay upright over the Christmas period cos I for one want to see more of your exploits, keep safe & atb mate.
Great video again Liam. Well edited and presented. A little tip for you:- just lose that 'cosy' on your gas cylinder. It's reducing the ability of the cylinder to absorb heat from outside to provide the latent heat of evaporisation for the liquified fuel to turn into gas. It's reducing the efficiency of your stove. If you want increased efficiency from your stove put the canister in a pan of waterand note the difference. ATB😀
Great spot that lad. Just want to say that I'm loving how much better you've got at making these things. The quality is great and your editing, especially over the last 12 months has got better and better. It was entertaining and snappy, funny and interesting. Keep it up our kid.
Love your content Liam. Thank you so much for doing these great videos for us all to enjoy. Such a beautiful place. Take good care of yourself and have a wonderful christmas xx
Great video Liam - just subscribed ..Ive just started my youtube journey so I'm learning the ropes and getting inspiration from guys like yourself - any tips appreciated
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors yep do loads down in dorset, just venturing onto dartmoor but grew up in liverpool so spent most of my 20s earlies 30s in snowdonia, dales and the Lakes
Hi mate what do you store your food in to keep it fresh when your making steak etc, obviously when it's this cold it doesn't matter but like in summer what would you do? Also I need to borrow your hilleberg so I can csmp in places like this 😂
20kg trail weight and you don't even have a comfy chair with you? When I camped on Scaffel Pike my trail weight was under 8kg, and that was with a comfy Helinox Chair Zero...It feels like I'm not carrying anything, but I have everything! First thing you need to get rid of is that super heavy tent...My tent is bigger than yours but it only weighs 326g! Tip: buy a DCF tent.
I’ve got a few camping chairs but don’t really need them when i’m gonna be in the tent for majority of the night, so just prefer the comfy Thermarest trekker chair. 👍🏼 As for the pack weight, in winter i’m not so bothered about what the pack weighs, I only do shorter distances in winter due to the less day light hours.. so this trip was no more than 10 miles, happy to carry the weight for that distance 👍🏼 Love the Soulo mate keeps me safe when i’m on top of a mountain on my own in any weather.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors unfortunately, the trekker chair only works with heavy inflatable mats, it wouldn't work at all with my ultralight CCF mat. And the Chair Zero can be also be used with the back rest lying on the ground the seat as your backrest, which is still pretty comfy and allows me to sit up in my tent rather than just lying down and getting a crick in my neck.
@@GoodBlokeOutdoors The best DCF tent to get is a single pole pyramid tent. You can't but one exactly like mine anymore as unfortunately the maker has passed away, but you can get the next best thing from Bonfus (The Middus 2P). It a bit bigger than my 1.5P tent so it weighs a tad more (380g)...I would ask if you can have one made in real tree camo DCF (Like Mine).
