No fancy chef electrolysis setup required and they get food grade H instantly.

Admittedly the condensed milk makes it very sweet (my small can was ~400g) so if you like your ice cream a bit less sweet I recommend lessening the amount condensed milk in the recipe. I am planning to try that out (also because I want to try the variations) and I think I wil try it with a 5/3 ratio instead of 5/4.

The only thing is that it took around 7-8 hours for it to freeze to a good consistency, so plan way ahead for this. It made about 63oz of ice cream, which is just under half a gallon.
Sounds like it should be done before bed so it will be freezing overnight then. Thanks for the tip, I was wondering how long to leave it in there and I haven’t tried making this yet. Any updates on improving it?
