Wouldn't the babies eat the poop of the adults so they could get the bacteria needed to break down the food? Ferns and stuff are pretty tough to digest
One thing that is never clarified in these documentaries is just how many baby sauropods were likely to make it to adulthood. It's almost as if thousands hatch and only one or two make it. The species would have died out quickly if only one baby survived per generation.
Remember this is just one group from one hatching ground. They don't constitute the entire population of the species across its entire range, so it's easier to get away with killing off almost every baby dinosaur.
Probably like baby sea turtles, lots hatch but very few make it. The predators probably have their young at the same time, because there’s such a surplus of easy prey around.
When they're fully grown they have little to no predators It's the same with sea turtles, one or two out of hundreds of babies survive oh, and the ones that do live Carefree when they're fully grown
babies do not even hide, what's the use of running under trees then? and they do not even move. who could think that they would very kindly wait for the carnivores to eat them?
Was there grass in South America at that time? I know there was grass where India and China are today, but I thought it spread worldwide only after the time of the dinosaurs.
no no grass Nice observation you are right only India and Asia had grass but at 7-8millions years ago grass took over the world but this documentary probably came before these informations
Why are these saltasaurus about the same size as alkasaurus in rhis documentry..i mean they are sauropods the biggest dinosaurs to ever have walked the earth
Saltasaurus was pretty small for a sauropod. They only grew to 40 feet long iirc. But you’re right. Even with that size the scale is still off quite a bit. The saltasaurus should be about as big is carcharodontosaurs.

*_Yes, to make the fern travel through their throat smoother_*

The Aucasaurus is 31,000 tonnes,He is found in Cretaceous Argentina,French Guiana at the north,Suriname at the Southeast
What the fuck, how can a creature weigh more than a fucking discord mod
@@tuf2500 a discord mod😂🤣😂🤣
31,000 tons?! Where did you get that measurement from? Aucasaurus was around half a ton(1500 lbs), 1.5 tons at the largest.
