- In this Saltwaters Hawaii episode, I try using crabs for bait! I caught Oio on bluepincher crab before. I decided to try use bluepincher crab, Aama crab and Sand crab to see which one has the best results. I ended up catch two Oios on the Aama crab! 2lber and a 7.1lber! Now crab is one of my favorite baits after fresh tako.

Can do a tutorial on how to cast a conventional?
Step 1: cast the reel
Nice catch!
Mahalo much for the advice and info 🤙🏼I will be using A’ama crab for bait next chance I get.
Moving to big island. Excited to learn how to whip and dunk.
Awesome catch! -Lomi Oi'o time!!- you guys make me jealous watching this kine action. So now I gonna add a'ama crab to the bait arsenal--gotta hit the harbor or tidepools now. I like that you give info on what # test and size hook you use right after the fight. I have to do that on my vids too, but I never remember what size hook I use since I try different sizes depending what kine fish I targeting and what time of day I'm fishing. Love watching you guys in action and my brother been hinting at me to do a slidebait session at Laie Point since we watched that vid you guys posted lol. Keep doing what you guys doing. Aloha!
Thank you for watching! I was just watching some of your videos, epic! Those camera shots are awesome I need a camera like that😂
Howzit Bruddah-yeah I bet would be epic to actually see a real fish get caught on the fishcam if you guys was throwing em out lol. bumbai I get🙏🏽. But only thing is you gotta bring your diving gear everytime cuz if the cam get snag you no like bus off and $200 aloha oe…I already lost one cam after something big took em into the sharp pele lava rocks at Buddha point in Waikoloa--Eh if u ever pull up one 80 lb plus Ulua with a fish cam in da mouth das mine one ok? Hehe-love the vids-waiting for u guys next one..Aloha!
Second love the vids nice catch
First. Also nice catch bro
We’re are you fishing at
All those crabs catch oio lol. My biggest was on blue pincher though but all caught some big boys
Fun on light tackle! Much Aloha from Florida! We call them Bonefish! Fillet one and you will realize why 😂
Nice fish buddy!!! Love your videos!
Is it possible to show how your bell goes on your pole? I fish for salmon here in Oregon and it seems everyone has a different way to use them here. Most of them use the metal supports for the guides or go inside the guides. Both seem like it could damage the guide to me. Was just curious on your thoughts😢. Thanks
How you keep the crab on when using um on conventional am assuming you no throw umm that hard just dump shot umm
Nice Oio! What kind of headlamp are you using and how many lumens is it?
aama is the best.. but it stays on you all night
Bradda where your tubis
