    Hello,
    I have put on 370mm in the front bolt on.
    Now i need to put the back on (345mm).
    When I ask around, people say that I need the bushings/inserts for the calipers but also ”rear rotor spacer kit (5mm) + spigot rings.
    I can see that you dont use those?

I have just finished doing this on my E82 a couple of days ago, So when I saw your hardline come free from the brake hose I cursed you to hell and back(had to replace both mine and what a ball ache that was). I’m on almost the same journey by weird chance. Bought an E90 330i a week ago and have similar plans. I’m confused about the brakes, as I saw someone saying you needed brackets for the fronts but clearly not! Also the bigger rear discs is unusual, are our cars likely to be the same or are there variations of different handbrake shoe sizes? And lastly, where did you get the rear eccentric washers? Cheers and good luck with the rest of it.

    • @vysgarage
      @vysgarage  Год назад

      Hi,
      It’s quite common for rear brakes to be slightly larger, my car came with 330mm on the front and 336mm on the rear from factory. Most F chassis cars have 340mm and 345mm front to rear.
      Your car will definitely have the same rear setup, I make those bushings so feel free to message me through facebook 👍🏻👍🏻
