  • Let's talk about setting artistic goals for 2024! How do you set goals that are actionable and achievable, that help you honour your own artistic process, the time you have available and your skill level? If the biggest contribution to your artistic growth is in how you show up and how often, it's important to set goals that are going to help you love your artistic practice!

Join the Heart-Led Artist Pathway and spend January in an artistic identity immersion course! I believe that as you grow as an artist, it becomes more important than ever to structure your own creative growth in a way that is aligned to your personal learning style, values and goals, and this four week course is designed to help you take that step as an independent, self-directed artist. Watching a replay of this so I can add that I did take some workshops, retreats and benefitted from each one. And I have a few I am playing catch-up with… learning that I over-estimate my energy (at 80 I should have learned this a long time ago - LOL!).

Hi Angela. Thanks for a great tool to use, it helped me understand my art practice in 2023. I was surprised at how much I have done! I think I am now at the stage (after almost 5yrs of learning) to commence on the path you describe (which I have been leaning towards as I resonate with your philosophy). I have just signed up for the 4 week course. I have booked some lessons in my area with a local artist (acrylic painting), in January, because yours are available online I don't think I have over-committed. I'm always looking for new things and new ways of looking at art, so January 2024 will kick off the year! Thanks once again for your encouragement and inspiration. Best wishes Robyn

I just retired and hope to jumpstart my art journey. Classes I have enrolled in since retiring how to stop making mud, another beginning art course with a botanicals bent, a course on painting animals in watercolor. Several years ago (2016) I found your RUclips channel and painted my first watercolor (and have done very few since due to a very demanding job in healthcare plus my husband’s health challenges). I love realistic paintings but am enamored of the looser style too- I hope to be able to do both. Just signed up for your beginner watercolor course too. Now I am retired, I have time now and hope to develop my skills in 2024. Hope to attend a workshop in person someday.

I much prefer to watch you paint in tutorials. I’m not going to be a professional artist but enjoy dabbling….sometimes I feel successful other times not so much ☺️

I’m not finding what time of day this course will start and if there are any suggested tools we should have?
