Thanks kev That was brilliant I’ve been a few times but never knew about these old cottages and yards How wonderful Fantastic history What about the life boat story It blew me away Looking forward to more 👏👏👏👏👏👍
Its a steep down and a real canny pull back up but always worth it, as RHB is brilliant, especially on a sunny day like that. I wonder how many of them lovely little cottages are still owned by local people and how many are now second homes, such a shame for the locals who are trying to get on the property ladder. We need to get back down to RHB for a visit before the bad weather sets in, cheers Alan
Hi Alan thanks for watching and yes it makes you wonder who owns these lovely cottages as it looked like the majority of them were holiday let’s , when I got to the bottom and saw wainwrights bar I thought of you and your walks , I must say the walk up that hill wasn’t easy , if you haven’t been in the Victoria Hotel pop in and check the menu they have some quality food . Catch you later Kev
A good Sunday morning Kevin, a bright early start. Loved the cooker outside No6. New take on the BBQ😊That's a view to wake up to😊brilliant. What a delightful spot to wander around, although they were a lot smaller back then. Being a bit of a chunky monkey I'd have to walk sideways, and probably still get stuck😢I feel sorry for the new postie on the block🤔😕🙁Overall, such a beautiful vibrant little piece of Britain, quaint and just, I don't know how to express it. Lovely ❤ Not sure my knees would love it, but some inviteting looking pubs to rest and refresh yourself in. Great way to start a Sunday. Oft now to read the papers and sip a cup of tea in the local Cheers Allan&Family
Some real hidden gems of cottages tucked away on the Yorkshire and North East coast Kevin. Maybe you're going into the Estate Agency trade now although you certainly do make a great Tourist Guide! 😊
Thanks For Watching Roger and no this was a one off as i cannot walk too far or for too long but if i was younger it might have been an idea , Cheers Kev

@thedurhamvlogger know exactly what you mean Kev. Walked into town today whilst waiting for my car to be MoT'd. It nearly killed me lol!
Blimey just looked on right move, only one property under 300 grand.
Would be nice but we can only dream
Gold hill, Shaftesbury in Dorset is still the worst paper round in Britain. ( Old hovis advert.)
Ah yes I remember that advert , that hill looks painful
