When Frieren asks Stark why he is ready to risk his life for the villagers, and seems to not accept his answer that it is because he was there for three years, you can also take it as her trying to have him notice that, 3 years ago, he already risked his life for the villagers by standing in front of the dragon.
He explains his resolve by the time he spent with the villagers. But it does not explain his courage 3 years ago.
"he is now someone who can fight for another", said Eisen. That's what Frieren sees in Stark, both now and 3 years before - in my opinion.
In Frieren 's eyes, Stark is a true Warrior : one who risks his life to protect others, even when he is afraid, even if he does not know them.
There is this show i rarely mention, that is not only excellent, relatively short and should provide plenty of opportunities to talk about therapeutic themes.
Its called A Place further than the Universe.
I'm gonna continue mentioning it sparingly...

what a great series
What perfect timing just finished watching the latest ep.
Honestly this show is peak fantasy and I love it so much. The only problem is according to what I've seen online we're going to have to wait a while for S2 as the anime is likely to catch up to the source material by the end of this current run.
I'm not too sure if 14 episodes is enough to cover the last 2 1/2 major arcs before catching up. for reference the manga has 117 chapters and the anime is still currently in the 30ish chapter :D
@@killuazoldyck4742 Really? Huh I didn't think to check out the source. I didn't think it had reached that far as I thought it was quite relatively new. Well that's what I get for trusting the internet.
This season would only cover half of the manga chapters with its 28 eps
The newest arc of manga is about to end so it would be good finale for S2
@@MajorSmurf Yeah, these small arcs are consuming an episode (which is amazing btw, no complaint here) it adds a lot that I am actually jealous of anime only watchers :D. once in a decade adaptation. I suggest we cherish every episode , trust me until the current chapter this story is freaking amazing.
Honestly, as a writer, a character depth lover. and a worldbuilding fanatic, there is just so much to love about this show with its writing, characters, dialogue, pacing, and of course the messages and lessons and how they are presented. It does many things in a unique way
It’s interesting to also gain perspective on this through a psychological lens as well. It helps put my own insights as a writer into perspective

I did not 😞 it was just too hard to keep up with on stream for being such a long game. I still want to play it even if just on my own because I am really intrigued by the series.
