Hello dear Scot,
I’m trying to think
Of a wonderful comment
For the rails so pink.
My good friend Scot,
I’d have to say
Those majestic rails
Would make my day.
That’s all.
Well said! Like it. Skol Vikings lol
Lol
One week 103 miles on my new pint 🍺
And how are you liking your PINT. Sounds like your putting on some miles.
I’m super late but I put 100 miles in 4 days on my pint x
Hey Scot!
Feb 8th 2021 will be my ONE year anniversary of my Pint purchase! Kush Nug Hi will be my celebration upgrade. I believe the first time I saw the onewheel was an ad via Instagram.. it was love at first sight. For about two months before I made the purchase I researched. I just want to thank you for your insight and walkthrough of these amazing machines! Keep it up!
Cheers! The demos you created, etc.. highly encouraged my purchase!
Happy birthday!
Congrats Dan
very cool of your to give a shout out to Dan. Classy
I “settled” for a blemished kush nug low for price and availability, but am totally satisfied with it. It’s a big improvement over stock and doesn’t have the extreme look of the kush nug high. The added front grip tape was a must when I felt how locked in my back foot was. Lots of bang for the buck with their footpads and included grip tape in my opinion. I’ve been impressed with float life stuff and customer service. Spot on review!
Yes Float life does such a great job.
Scot, let me tell you, those pink stoke protectors would take my board to the whole next level! It’d be cooler than the Pink Panther. Flyer than a flamingo. Sweeter than strawberry ice cream. Sitting underneath my Kush Hi footpad on my XR, those rail guards would be the icing on the cake that is my Onewheel.
Great video as always my friend!
Great comment bro. Love it.
I would give him the protecters
my foot is still broke (3 weeks now) and i haven’t been able to ride my XR(broke my foot 2 days before it arrived). i’m so excited to ride it, a bunch of my friends love the heck out of it.
Sorry to hear that Oh man your friends get to ride but you don't that sounds rough
Love the video but I just wish I could become a part of the onewheel family
Are you still saving for one?
@@ScotMendenhall yes but I might not b able to get one me and my family are struggling 😖but you never know I might get one one day😊
Law of attraction: see it, feel it, you are already riding it! You will get there! Focus on the things you already have no matter how big or small and more will come.
I just attended the Dallas onewheel day and was speaking with many people about foot fatigue issues. My rear foot also hurts. Imma have to try it maybe...
But also they are ugly- I thinks the aesthetic of the stock footpad.
My fav Pint footpad for sure. Game changer
I have had it on for only a few days but i really do like it.
Pink is awesome they would match my tie die vans
Oh they would match so well
Oh shoot i would love those rail guards my friend just customized his board with blue bumpers and pink rail guard’s. I would love to surprise him with those!
We will pick a winner next week.
Things amazing, big warm hug for your back foot. Ive had it on a couple weeks and I'm just trying to get a similar feel on the front somehow
Yeah but that senor is very fragile so messing with the front foot pad is something I try not to do.
@@ScotMendenhall yep, I'm experimenting with topical solutions shall we say 😅
Great video.. my foot doesn't really fall asleep but my right calve normally starts hurting.. will the kush help with that??
Yes it will but it will take a little to get use to
Just finished my upgrades on my XR Whip and I got a ton of stuff for my daughters ride. She will be decked out for Xmas for sure!!!
That is awesome!
I switched to the Kush Hi on my XR and found that it caused more problems than it fixed. The main thing I wanted from the footpad upgrade was a more locked in feel and more support on the back edge of my foot. I never had foot fatigue issues with the stock pad, because I know how to manipulate the muscles in my feet to relieve it without disrupting my ride (fatigue is not from vibrations as some people suggest, it's from constant isometric contraction). The grip tape on the Kush Hi was a huge upgrade, but the actual shape caused me HUGE problems - I ride with my back foot toes hanging off the board so I can feel the edge, and the deep concave put a huge amount of pressure on the ball of my foot - so much that I was getting something worse than fatigue, I was getting actual pain on longer rides that I could not relieve. I ended up switching back to the stock pad for now and will be trying the Surestance Fusion pad later this week when my local shop gets them in stock. God bless you Scot and God bless America.
I got a Kush nug hi for my XR and LOVE it!! I switched the grip tape (front and back) to the traction pads and not sure how I feel about them (regrettably, i never tried the TFL tape). The traction pads FEEL great, soft and kushy, but I find my foot slips around more than stock and I have to stop to readjust after several miles (I primarily only ride on concrete to).
Just commenting to support and don't have a need for new rail guards :) Thanks for the fun videos!
thanks for the support. Yeah those traction pads are great durning snowy rides.
I would really love those. I would ride with them in memory of my friend Kathy who survived breast cancer 10 years ago, but lost her battle with kidney cancer a year and a half ago. We are huge Oregon Ducks fans and she was known as Duck Mother. The stigma of guys wearing pink does not bother me as a former Marine of 8 years. I bought a shirt saying “tough guys wear pink” and I loved wearing it. Plus I have a pink breast cancer tattoo with her initials in the ribbon. I would put her initials on them as well.
thanks for sharing that story. and Yes tough guys wear pink.
@@ScotMendenhall hey I was wondering as I was reading the comments. Is there a way we as a onewheel community can do a one time help out for a fan of yours in the comments. I like randomly helping people. Maybe other people would too.
Awesomeness Brother!!! You are the BEST! 😎👏🏼
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Great content as always Scott! I'd love to rock these Pink Railguards on my XR for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness month! I've had a few women in my family who have had to battle it and I bet it would make their day if they saw me cruising with pink ribbon stick on the fender and pink railguards! I actually hadn't thought of this idea until now, so I may end up buying some even if I don't win the giveaway lol. Stay cool my dude!
Oh what that's a great comment and a great story. Here's to hopping you win.
Killer shirt Scot!
thanks bro. Burton shirts are the best
The nug is great!
I really enjoying it.
Pink don’t stink bro. Hook a brutha up 😬👍🏼
I’m an old man (49) and I just got an XR. We’ll see how it goes!
I’d pimp the shit out of those pink bad boys. Slide em my way.
Thanks for the videos. Learning a lot of good tips from y’all.
🤘🏼😎
49 years old is pretty young bro. How are you liking your XR?
Scot Mendenhall man I’m old as dirt. lol. I appreciate it though.
I’m loving the XR! So far so good. No boo boos YET 🤞🏼
Nice video
Thanks
I found this review really helpful bro! I’m thinking of getting a Kush pad for my XR! My concern with concave footpads is that it would feel “too locked in” for tricks but after your video I think I’m sold and would like one for my XR! I’m always inspired by Bodhi Harrison so I would love some Bodhi Pink rails guards and would rock these by doing a 2 tone set up with my hot blue rails guards! Bro it would look so good! 🙏💯
Oh that would look so good
you should do a xr range test since you have owned your xr for a while so see if the batterys deterate please
That's a great idea
Yes please that is such a good idea! Would love to see that video!
Scott love the vids man, are the bumpers on the pint worth it? And what tire are you running ?
yes worth it and that was the hoosier tire. Such a great tire.
I’ll probably upgrade from the Kush Lo to the Hi sometime this winter. The grip tape is looking kind of worn where I shift my rear foot around, but I got about 850 miles and LOTS of carving on it.
That's an impressive amount of miles on that Footpad.
Hey just got a onewheel!
i have this on my pint, but xr i'm staying symmetrical. soooo weird riding switch when the rear pad is concave. maybe if they had a way to put this on the front too.
Yeah that would be cool but I think messing with the sensor keeps companies from bring out much stuff.
I have a cat question for you Scott I have foot fatigue in the front foot and I ride Goofy what would be a fix for that?
Shift your weight to the back leg more. Try that and let me know how that feels.
Yay
Happy Friday to you.
I would mix them with black so they will look crazy nice
Oh that's a great look I've done that on mine.
I've been waiting for this review even though I don't have a pint! I just wanted to know scotts opinion since he loves the wood footpads. Scott was it a big change feel wise with the width? When I ride Im constantly checking and adjusting my feet because I like my feet in a very particular spot,so I imagine it probably felt very different. Loved the video!
Yes it felt different but it didn't take much time to adjust. It's a great footpad. The grip tape is so good
So I got my onewheel last month, I’ve gone 70 miles but I fell of and broke my WRIST
When did you fall off like this past week? I hope you are doing well. Sorry to hear.
Wrist guards are a good thing
Do you like the Kush high better than the Kush low foot pad
I don’t have a onewheel and have been dreaming of one for 3 yeaaars... I do have a stile that I’m going for: a yellow magnetic fender and pink float plates with hopefully pink side kicks or railgards... so can you complete the setup for me 🙊
Maybe you'll get one at christmas
Scot Mendenhall lol hope so
Hey Scot, I just picked up an old scratched up fender from a friend and in the process of repainting it and fixing all the cracks. I have been trying to figure out what colour I should go with but no luck so far. Maybe these side kicks would help out.
They are pretty nice. Lets how you win.
Ain't that some sh!t......My foot fatigue only happens on my front lead leg not my back leg. I ride goofy footed. Even with the Kush Hi pad I feel like that wont solve my issue, but I'm still going to try it. I'll also try the fish bones on the front hoping it doenst mess with my sensor.
can you shift your weight to the back leg? that would help solve some of that fatigue
@@ScotMendenhall I'd but I will try to do it more often. Thank you for responding🤙🏾
I wish I could rock those pink sidekicks but I dont have an XR :(
Are you saving for one?
Yep thats the plan, im trying to get my wife to ride my pint so that once she is hooked we can get an XR for me and the pint for her haha
My Colts play the Vikings this week 😏
Let's go Vikings
Scot Mendenhall LETS GO COLTS!!!!🏈
Is their gonna be a race tomorrow?
Yes just posted the link. It's going to be a good one.
Who won the last giveaway?
Dan Woodham.
I'd rock those pink XR side rails like @bodhiharrison and maybe I'll come close on riding like him 😆🤙
Ha I wish it was that easy to ride like Bodhi
2 months with the pint and have 600+ miles..
Curious how your relationship with FM is as you promote 3rd party products FM seems to want out of the picture. Sincerely curious. It seems as though TFL is actually the ones cultivating our sport, created by FM, while FM focuses on making door-mats, gun-racks, and probably an ashtray soon...
Relationship with the Onewheel Team is 100%
@@ScotMendenhall Please communicate to them how badly their riders deserve and want them to establish a Distributor Service Network. Its an easy service model to implement and manage, easier than managing their own service shop, and a customer centric solution as well. Their current "Apple" like stance on service on these maintenance heavy toys is insulting at this point and a huge reason I am rooting for them to have some real competition, sooner than later. Hell, at least Apple has a store local to me, I dont have to ship my phone to them in Cali or China to get repaired. Same with my Toyota Truck, same with my Trek Bike, my lawnmower, fish filter pumps....they have established distributors who already do service work on bikes and atv's etc...
Do u still ride boosted boards?
Nope it sits here in the office.
@@ScotMendenhall a video idea u could do is a give away with the boosted board.
I get foot fatigue in my front foot but never my back foot. Am I doing it wrong or something? Lol
You are not doing anything wrong you just are putting to much of your weight on the front foot. A lot of people do this in hopes of keeping the sensors activated
@@ScotMendenhall makes scense
Well, I am a dude, but I can definitely rock me some of that pink bra! Help me support the cause more friend!!!!!!! Float on......
