I haven't given it to her yet, but I found a really nice leather bound Passover Haggadah for my mother. It has commentary by Elie Wiesel and illustrations by Mark Podwal. I was flipping through it whilst listening to this video. I'm trying to catch up before bed, and I'm doing multiple things at once. Tomorrow is inventory day at the pharmacy, so I've got a fourteen hour shift. It's only a couple of times a year, so I'm trying to be positive about it. Some relaxing videos and some imaginative illustrations might help me wind down for a good night's sleep.
Well I'm not sure if me doing poorly at Magician Lord would qualify as a relaxing video but if it helps you then awesome. Probably one of the most Jewish things I've ever done is bought multiple cans of Maxwell House coffee to get the Haggadahs. The coffee is well. Well I just wish a better taste in coffee company would make haggadahs, But what does it say about capitalism that the gold standard of a holy book is published by a coffee company.
@8bitjoystick This one was printed in Connecticut by the Easton Press. I probably overpaid, especially considering that the Maxwell House variety is available for free at the low, low price of coffee, but it was for my mom. ☺️
Have you played King of Demons for the Super Famicom? it's what I'd call Magician Lords successor, there nothing to do with each other to my knowledge but have a similar style, tough too! Worth a look if you want another game like this with a splash of Castlevania and Contra.
You know I saw that was finally getting a re-release or a western release from retrobit. That is one that I don't know about and definitely should check out. Apparently at one time they were making a Magician Lord game for Neo Geo pocket but it got canceled sadly
@@8bitjoystick That's a shame, I don't recall ever playing anything bad on a NEOGEO Pocket, even the fruit machine games were fun, so chances are it'd have been awesome!
