    That was brilliant!!! I am not even writing JEE, but taking the same points as a special case to solve MCQs is too good!

    Sir, hum yahan A, B ko end of L.R. le sakte hain phir
    AM = BN = 2a = 3 and
    CD = a = 3/2
    As point M,N and D is the one point, i.e. focus of parabola.

    Nice short cut sir, but it would be a bit more shorter if A and B are taken on both ends of LR

    Sir please bring a video on solving area questions of coordinate geometry (JEE advanced) by using special cases, sir in those questions we have to calculate alot of coordintes and then the area, it takes atleast 10min even if you know all the process.

    Sir isse better hoga we assume A & B to be the end points of latus rectum and C to be the origin and CD be the x-axis then I think we get it even faster sir ❤

    Sir in your solution, you have taken A and B same points, then there are infinite lines passing through A(=B). Then why have you chosen a specific line(tangent) here??

    • @MrHhhh9999
      @MrHhhh9999 14 дней назад +2

      @FlakernN aap isse aise socho ki a and b are two distinct points on parabola
      Then draw a line passing through a and b
      You will notice a sectant
      When we bring a and b closer and closer , they finally merge at a single point and the line joining a and b finally becomes a tangent,joki secant ka limiting case hai

      That's the trick man.. the question has not been specified and the examiner has given the freedom of any point.. so why not take the easiest ones....

  • @JaswanthSai_25
    @JaswanthSai_25 14 дней назад +1

    Sir I've done this under 30s.
    I assumed A,B as end points of Latusrectum and parabola (a,2a) , (a,-2a). C is the origin. Line L is X-axis itself, and the feet of perpendiculars both are focus of parabola. Thus answer is 36 for a=3/2.
