There have been multiple times when Jerry Stiller made Julia break character and laugh and she would immediately go to Jerry and fall into his arms like a daughter would to her father and he would embrace her like a father. Seeing her do this multiple times made me always wonder if she felt kind of daughterly towards him and he fatherly towards her
Thanks for asking the first question, as a student of comedy myself im sick of the elitism that is popular these days usually in comments sections like these about audience laughter and people acting as though its a pain or that theyre above it, what they forget is that in comedy it can be important to get that automatic reaction to know whether something is working or not plus it creates a more communal atmosphere which comedies without an audience can lack.
Some people don't appreciate laughter as a communal thing. It's so much more fun to laugh in a group. OR, as you said it's one of two forms of elitism. "I don't need to be told when to laugh." Or they like to think they're the only one that "gets it". Having said that, laugh tracks can be used improperly and abused. Also, I appreciate the comedies with NO live audience or laugh track as well. They're 2 different animals.
@@john.premose Yeah I see that a lot when people react to or talk about Friends/Seinfeld and are like "Ugh I hate laugh tracks" - people have to tell them it's a live audience. Which can bring its own kind of humor - like when someone in the audience has a distinctive laugh and really, really likes a joke, lol.
The world would be a much better place if more women had as much humor in their hearts as Julia does. And also, this interviewer asked very insightful questions. 💛💛💛
@@penguin44caIn my experience, most women react mildly to humor, and are too timid to make a joke, in general. This is not a negative judgement of them on my part, but an observation of experience. A deflating thing, against youthful expectations. If a woman has humor, give more joy to her 💪!
That was an old-school answer to what she said about bad reviews and how she reacts to them. Reacting to bad reviews is a modern day thing. Back then we were being taught to “not give a Fuuuuuuuuuuuk “😊
Sooo weird to see bad guy Dromgoole from 2016's The Night Manager (aka Tobias Menzies) sitting next to Elaine / Christine. 🥰 Small small worlds have we.
If a guy doesn't know what movie he's going to, his lady is probably taking him to a movie with a title like _You Hurt My Feelings_ or _Women Talking._

That Seinfeld blooper is all-time-greats. Louis-Dreyfus really unraveled in that one.
how could you not across from jerry stiller!
My favorite line from Seinfeld, and one that I use often is, "It means what ever the hell you want it to mean."
She's one of the absolutely funniest women ever. Her Seinfeld bloopers kill me.

You can tell she loves and adores Jerry Stiller. It's just a bunch of bloopers but it is also really touching.
Jake asks very refreshing and well thought-out questions. Congrats Jake!
Astounding. I wish Jerry Stiller had lived forever.
One of best outtakes ever
Kudos for those questions. Definitely more insightful than the usual ones that I'm sure celebs get bored with.

Exact, everyone always thinks it's a laugh track or canned laughter but often it really was an audience laughing.

Every Time I Watch her laugh in that blooper with Jerry Stiller(R.I.P) I Fall in Love with JULIA (Elaine) ALL OVER AGAIN 😍❤❤
Absolutely one of the funniest scene ever! "You want a piece of me" after he says that..I laugh every time..classic between cast members..
JLD is as smart as she is pretty. Brilliant and charismatic.
And graceful
I'm convinced Jerry stiller was doing it on purpose in the end
Elaine is so beautiful!
What about me?
She might be the reason I love dark eyed dark haired women.
@WhiteElvenDragon you're not too bad yourself JACK
@@jasonbruce208 😂 you’re so sweet
loved her in SNL as prince...funny fantastic
That blooper is the funniest thing that ever came the show. Jerry Stiller was a comic genius

Dude what?! Are you aware that women are inherently as funny?
Yes. So insightful like, what's your best bad review.. What was it like in that scene with Stiller?

Wow! Elaine and Edmure Tully together! Worlds are colliding!
Tobias’s voice is amazing.
What? Sounds like too many pork chops and cigarettes
@@paintb0x sounds awesome!

Some things are meant to be enjoyed, not analyzed. Stiller just had that ability, may he rest in peace.
longer interview :(
Are you sad this interview is longer or you wish this were longer? Because he has no control over that. Great questions Jake!
@@KimSuecutie wish it was longer
The guy sit with Julia is Gottfried son?
Yama-hama .. it's fright night!
JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS is STILL DREAMY ❤😍 #FEMALEBRITIES
You ain't never lied.
Why is she sitting next to the evil redcoat bastard villain from Outlander?
I’m wondering why she’s sitting next to one of the Riverlands’ worse commanders, and getting slapped around by his uncle The Blackfish.
I've learned life lessons from movies. After watching Goodfellas, I decided it probably wasn't a good idea to go around whacking people.
What happened to her eyebrows?

What the hell does that mean!?"
Elaine and Edmund Tully?!?
Are they trying to dodge the cheatingball?
What the HELL does that mean??
Do't forget her turn on SNL.
