This video shows how we calibrate the Crank Pattern (CKP) on a Acura MDX, using the Autel Maxisys Elite in order to fix Fault code P0302 P0306
The vehicle had all new spark plugs and coil packs installed but still had a misfire on 2 cylinders after 20-30 seconds of running(as shown in the video). After calibration was performed, the issues went away.
Side note- the issue started after the battery died and the car was jump started.

I've been searching for 6 months looking for why my 2012 started doing this after the battery died. Thank you. Was going crazy!
real fix worked perfect. had the same problem on a 2011 battery died came in with same codes, crank relearn worked. Thanx
This video needs more views, fixed mine but it came back 6 months later but I think I have a idea what's going on 🤞 will post a video if I figure it out definively
No pun intended but, you answered your own question, Go buy a one, it’s a launch OBD scanner CRP 123 Elite-Newest model 2023 cost $134 on Amazon… I have one and for the price it’s worth it if you’re going to be working on your own vehicle!
Nope still not fixed, their has to be a reason it's forgetting crank position.... it'll happen again I can guarantee that
Possible memory problem with ecu or loss of ( memory)power to ecm? A degraded battery may cause loss if memory as well. Even if battery can still start car that doesnt mean its a good battery ! If ecm is losing memory , you may have problems completing drive cycle( emissions monitors). Hope you have fixed by now though !
after replacing the Crank sensor the tool of my mechanic won't detect the sensor I replace with a second new one and the same no sensor detected to re learn, do you know why?
how can I do a reset if I don't have the device you have
The only way to reset it would be with a capable tool. Call around your local repair shops to see who is capable. Shops usually charge $50-$100 for this service.
Im looking to buy a scan computer that can do this kind of stuff@@AutomotiveCircuitSolutions
