**AN UPDATE & CONTEXT ON THIS STORY: all the puppies have been officially adopted 💛! Now some context on the story…We live in an extremely rural area. To give you an idea of how rural, there are approximately 50 full-time residents in a section of wide open high desert land in our regional subdivisions or "neighborhood" of nearly 50,000 acres. We are surrounded by mountains with 14,000+ foot peaks, and valleys of sparsely populated rural agricultural land. It takes 20-25 minutes on dirt roads to even get to our house, and the nearest SMALL city is over an hour away. Each house is VERY spread out, often miles apart. And most people don’t fence in their acreage. The majority of the houses don't have power or water lines running to them. We are off the electric grid and haul our water. Wild horses, deer, coyotes, mountain lions, bears, and YES huskies and other purebred looking dogs (without collars) roam around the region. This is not the suburbs. There are no street lights, a lot of the roads don't even have signs, and cell service is sparse. So when we heard a puppy crying on our 5 acres of land in the middle of the night, we figured there was nothing else to do but take it inside. To clarify, he wasn’t on our literal doorstep, but our figurative doorstep. He was crying and clawing at our back fence trying to get in, which is maybe 25ft behind our house and a few hundred feet from the border of our land. We gave it water, food, some blankets, and pulled out and set up an old kennel we had from when our 2 dogs were puppies. Honestly, we weren’t even sure it was a dog at first, and thought we might have stumbled upon a wolf pup. The next day, we figured there must be more, because it seemed too random for there to be one alone, and the puppy kept going to one spot in our fence, so we decided to go looking around. The first puppy pointed us in the right direction enough to hear the others crying nearby and Ryan found them rummaging (seemingly for food) in a pile of trash. For some more context...some people just dump trash on their land or vacant land because there is no trash service out here and everyone has to haul their own trash at least 30 minutes away. We personally store our trash in bins until we accumulate enough to go dump it every few months. We don't know how the puppies got there or where they came from. But considering how rural we are, we figured they were either A. abandoned/"dumped" by someone who kept any females in the litter, OR B.their mom was a stray, OR C.they were someone's puppies (maybe a breeder) who didn't have a fenced in yard. No matter how they ended up in this situation we decided the best course of action was to take them to a shelter. We did continue to look around for a mother dog for a few days and did not find one. So we called around to a couple of shelters until we found a no kill shelter. We did this because we figured that was the right thing to do. Despite considering the notion that we probably could have made a lot of money off selling them (as many commenters seem to keep pointing out as “proof” that this story is fake). By taking them to a shelter, we knew that they would all be vaccinated, dewormed (they all had worms by the way), microchipped and fixed (ensuring no one could breed them or create more strays). This also meant that we legally surrendered rights to the puppies, by signing a contract that states that the shelter owns them and decides who adopts them, and gets the money from the adoptions even though we were fostering them. They did thankfully provide us with puppy food and some extra play pens. The vet said they were about 6 weeks old when we found them and they were healthy minus the worms, and being dirty from rummaging through trash. The rural shelter we took them to, takes all their adoptable puppies and dogs to “adoption days” at Petsmart and Petco in Colorado Springs on the weekends. 3 of the puppies immediately got adopted at the first adoption day (when they were around 3 months old). Please note: we specifically chose this shelter over other "local" shelters because they were no kill AND because they have strict adoption guidelines for huskies since they are a very high maintenance breed that often end up in shelters because people don't understand how much work they are. Hence why there are entire husky rescues devoted to this cause! FYI: the shelter had a handful of other huskies there, and a whole litter of husky puppies showed up while we were fostering our litter. For those people who don’t think people abandon purebred huskies, or purebred husky puppies, please do a google search for husky rescues and spend some time on pet finder. There are plenty of huskies abandoned all the time. Back to the story, We decided to adopt the original one (Bandit). And we continued to foster the final grey one and bring it to the shelter for transport to adoption days on weekends, and every time he didn't get adopted (he was also listed on petfinder online for over 2 months). So we finally decided to adopt him, and we named him Goose! For those people who are commenting that it's cruel that we split the puppies up, I'm curious how many people you see with an entire litter of adult dogs? The norm in the world of domesticated dogs, is to split siblings up. I'd like to see the people complaining about that, adopt 5 puppies (especially when you already have 2 adult rescue dogs, which by the way are fixed female mixed breeds, NOT huskies for those claiming we bred these puppies). Ya would, ay? Yes, every one of them is adorable. But do you know how much stuff ONE puppy chews up, never mind five? Sneakers, shoes, table legs, chair leather, mail, books, and more. I'm not being mean; I bring this up bcuz the idea of keeping all 5 occurred to me too, bcuz they are so lovable. This is based on experience.
😊Thank you for rescuing them and getting them to a no kill shelter where they were taken in, medically taken care of, provided with care, food, the chance to be adopted by people who meticulously screened people so the chances they would be abandoned, returned to the shelter, passed on to others with no screening or abandoned and perhaps not survive. You did the best you could for them and what was right, even adopting the one puppy who was lingering unadopted and alone with no sibling to share left to keep his spirits up his !❤

Bandit will forever be a hero to his brothers. He stepped up and went to go get help. Such an honorable mentality for a dog. He didn't forget his siblings but led the help straight to them. That's so smart too. Bandit is special. Hope the new owners reunite them all occasionally because they're gonna want to see bandit.
@@uvie_egua first off, this story is a lie. Nobody is abandoning purebred huskies. Those puppies were intentionally bred and sold for over $1000 each. Secondly, no shelter is euthanizing healthy, purebred puppies. That isn’t happening. Don’t swallow the propaganda like that. Sheesh. I’ve been running a rescue for 15 yrs. Many import dogs from over seas because we don’t have enough adoptable dogs to sell (I mean “adopt out”. The only dogs being put down are dangerous dogs that never should have been alive in the first place.

I couldnt do it either 😭 we just adopted a puppy in october and we stayed in contact with the owner of the mom so that they can see each other she only lives about 10 min away from us i just wish i could get in contact with her brothers and sisters owners but they live out of town 🥺
@@laughingcorrpseholly4136 as a breeder of labs staying in contact is a good thing. The breeder can help you with issues but more importantly mom and puppy can keep contact. I have had moms go completely wild when a pup comes to see her even after a very long time. People think they are just dogs but dogs are smarter than people give them credit for. Letting your pup have regular contact with her mom, will allow mom to continue to teach her and that is a good thing.
my parents did the same with our boston boxer Benjamin (Benny). we've had him for about...4 years now? Its always heartwarming to see folks doing things like this. eve fur baby deserves a home
Love is such a strong powerful force. For that first puppy to remember his siblings and guide you to them is simply amazing. For some reason I think of the story of Joseph locked up in prison and after interpreting the dreams of his jail mates, the butler completely forgets to tell the king about him and abandons him there. But not this little one Bandit, 💞, he remembered his siblings and you guys did such a great job helping them all. Thank you for sharing this uplifting, heart warming journey with us. 🙏🏽
Unfortunately the internet is gonna internet and some people are miserable idiots so you have shut out the trolls. You did a wonderful thing for all of these babies.

So adorable. Thank you for your kindness for taking care of these little sweeties! I was floored when someone suggested keeping them all! Seven large dogs in one house..... Are they kidding!!!! I applaud you for keeping two to add to your other two!
I swear there needs to be more people like this in the world…..I know how tough it is to foster a litter of puppies that showed up on your doorstep. My wife and I had the same situation happen and we kept 2 of the pups for ourselves. It was the best decision we ever made. Thank you for being awesome!!!

I'm _so_ glad that y'all at least kept that little enterprising hero pup who was clever enough to _not only_ LOOK for help, but to then _lead that help_ BACK to his waiting siblings. What a _good boy!_ I don't know enough about dogs to know whether or not puppies have the capacity to "plan" at that age. If so, it's INCREDIBLY impressive that this little guy set out on his own like that and actually found and led back help, yet none of his siblings apparently thought to try to seek out help. (Or maybe it was understood that their bro would be back? _So many_ questions!)
So glad to you rescued and fostered Bandit and his siblings. They are all beautiful dogs. Thrilled that they were all adopted out and of course you all adopted Bandit. Hooray!! 🐕🦺
Thanks for stepping up and not hesitating to help them. The people in my neighborhood just keep walking or ignore when there are friendly dogs wandering around. My first thought is to always contain them and then take them to the shelter and scan for a microchip.
OMG...ADORABLE doesn't even begin to describe these little guys!!! GOD BLESS & PROTECT THEM ALL. And a Very SPECIAL BLESSING to this WONDERFUL COUPLE who took them in!!
I wouldn't blame you if you decided to turn the comment option off for this video. This is YOUR life and YOUR video. IMO you don't have to justify your actions/decisions to ANYONE!! YOU know you did the right thing by fostering these unwanted puppies until they were old enough to be adopted and have their forever home. The universe brought you and little Bandit together above and beyond that there's nothing more to explain. To ANYONE!! You're a beautiful person for taking these puppies in and Bandit is a lucky little guy. Please give all of your beautiful fur babies a pet from me...a fellow rescued dog mom in Montana! ❤️
For some reason at our old apartment cats used to show up and adopt us or take us to their kittens. Sometimes we'd get a random stray dog too but we weren't in a position to adopt any of them. But my friend's mom works at the shelter and runs a Facebook page for adoption so I would take pictures of them so they could either be reunited with owners they escaped from or find new homes.
It takes a special kind of arse to abandon puppies in a garbage pile. I’m glad the one puppy went for help and found some compassionate people who took them all in and found home! God bless you!
I would have so many problems wanting to just keep them all. Why would anyone abandon such cuties. 😭 Kudos to you for taking them in and fostering them until they could be adopted. 🥰
Your act of kindness makes me believe there is still goodness in this world. It makes me cry whenever I hear of abandoned husky puppies or adult huskies.I lost my beloved 14 year old Nanuk (Siberian Husky)last year and he taught me how huskies are as gentle as lambs. They are the most docile breed but they need their exercise. We were an entire family who took turns making sure he had his long walks.I wish more people read about the breed instead of being enamored by their beauty.
Thank you Anna, you and your husband are pure Hero's in my eyes. You took in 5 huskies pups what a lot of work...they are really adorable though. You saved 5 huskies ' lives .That is what really matters. You kept 2 l think that is beautiful. Don't matter about what negative idiots have to say.....Only what you do and say.Thank you again💖🐾🐾💖
Bandit, you are a hero to your siblings! May you all have long and healthy lives! Especially you Bandit. You are the goodest of good boys for finding this loving family and leading them to yours!
THANK YOU so much for NOT taking them to a kill shelter (wish they were all banned) & for searching for the siblings & Mum. You did the best you could & kept 2 of them! Awesome! Thank you, its good to know your story. All the best with your expanded doggie family, animals enrich our lives so much, may all go well with you 💝
Thank you for your Love, Caring & Kindness to these pups in fostering them (a lot of work on your part). Don’t pay any attention to the idiots who speak “out of turn”. They are Negative, unkind people. So happy you added two more rescued pups to your family❣️🐾. Hopefully they will bring you a world of happiness😊
Oh bless, such cuties. Lovely place for them to be, too, to live and explore Best puppy haul to turn up, they are adorable, look like Huskies, a beaut breed, but sounds like they were dumped, poor babies, taken from mother and abandoned somewhere remote - with no mama around, and found in pile of trash?? How awful, poor babies. unless their mother was also with them & dumped together, but went looking for home and left them out of desperation. I hope she is ok
My dog's mother left and found my friend to rescue her puppies. They kept mom and a couple puppies and we got our Harry. It's amazing that dogs have that instinct.
He is such a smart and a brave puppy, who saved his siblings, I'm so happy, that you also saved and took care of their precious, innocent lives ❤ people like you are an example for the rest of us
They came to you for help.. they just knew you would keep them safe. There is a reason they chose you.. your compassion, your love and the joy you find in loving animals in need. Bless you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for ALL the things and decisions you made for these puppies!! You are wonderful!! Ignore the haters. That is how they look at life and judge people. Because they are what they project. Hugs to you, the puppies, and your 2 sweat dogs that had to accept them!❤
I'm happy that the lil guy was able to find help for him and all his siblings however it 1 makes ya wonder what happened to mom 2 pisses me off to think how someone could do that to these sweet lil guy's.

Welp you have two options

Why not keep them all. I have a BIG backyard 4 all of them 2 play. Yea!

What the fuck…..
The other puppies were probably euthanised at the shelter but yeah you can hope.
@@uvie_egua what??!!! Naah! I hope not
@@uvie_egua first off, this story is a lie.
@@uvie_egua Not purebred Huskies.... They would not euthanize them, they are very popular and would have been taken up in a snap.

I couldnt do it either 😭 we just adopted a puppy in october and we stayed in contact with the owner of the mom so that they can see each other she only lives about 10 min away from us i just wish i could get in contact with her brothers and sisters owners but they live out of town 🥺
all that property theres plenty of room I wouldve too
All puppy litters do this.

Aw the way you put it makes me so sad and so happy at the same time. Precious little babies.

This feels like a treasure found. I wish one day a dog/puppy would show up at my house as well. 😭
It’s very much likes treasure because the odds of this being real are very slim, like the odds of finding a treasure.
Go to a shelter near you. I can guarantee you that their are some great puppies there in need of love and a home.

Maybe, but it won’t be a clean husky puppy, I promise.
