- Nanna Niko meets the little bundle of fluff for the first time! I'm not too sure she was overly enthused by the prospect of another youngster running around causing chaos again, she's getting older now. You can see how many grey hairs Niko has now and her tired eyes. Little boy was nonchalant to it all and just wanted to sleep. At least he was chilled, Teddy was scared and ended up growling at the others to warn them off, everyone including Milo but when he saw Amelia he was all smiles and wagging tails, it was so strange the drastic turn but so cute how he was so happy to see a small person. Amelia thinks the little pup is a mini Niko. It was good for a first introduction to meet each other, both had a sniff and are friends of friends at the moment but will get closer!

yeh, it seems like she has really turned a lot greyer in the last month or so. a new pup should make it complete. lol

Yeah. I didn't watch for many months (after Phil's death) and I'm surprised to see that she's much grayer. Still very pretty, though. Niko has the prettiest face for a dog. 🐶🐕

This puppy is so kind, polite, good natured, definitely with very balanced parents. He is a very calm and strong puppy because he doesn't pee out of fear. He is very sweet, calm and beautiful❤

Niko is taking it all in stride… sweet girl…listening to her howl makes me miss hearing her, and Phil going at it together❤️❤️. This new pup is a very calm little guy. If anyone will bring the action out of him it will be Teddy.

This post is cute adorable and sweet. Niko raced to her bowl because she's used to being fed when Phil's nearby. The Fluffy, in Shane's hands and lap... When Niko finally poked her nose into Fluff's fur she lay down. She's always been the Nana and Sweet Angel and Guard Dog. And in her mind: NIMBY. Here she has a new love and something or someone to care for. Bless you Niko.

Niko's reaction was the one I've been waiting for... I think she's now so used to new animals/friends coming to stay that she's decided it's not worth getting agitated over any more.
She'll do the same with this one as she's done w/ Teddy - assert her Alpha status - but her days of actively disliking other dogs, esp. on her turf, are behind her, now.

Nan Niko is a beautiful fluffy pup. She liked Panda. You can see by her expression she welcomes the little ball of fluff. Panda was definitely curious and taking cues from his 2 trainers, and Niko.

I wish dogs lived longer. It's such a kind thing to do for a senior dog. Getting a puppy will add great joy to her remaining years, and the extra play and running around may even extend her quality of life. When niko dies having the puppy will greatly help the remaining family deal with the heartbreak of her passing. Such a loving family.
