I watch this panel for Seth MacFarlane and I can't even see him
At least we have one piece of science-fiction that has not been destroyed yet. RIP Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who.
i love star trek new shows coming out and dont dis dr who its better than it ever was yes star wars RIP any way Adam you must be vary old to say that shame on you :P
@18:01.... Awkward! Separated on July 2nd and have filed for divorce. Good for Scott and Adrianne for being gracious regarding the compliment and soldiering on with the panel.
yep. i think scott looks like he is on the verge of tears. maybe he screwed up. she was the one that filed.
When Scott went over to hang out with Rob Lowe, he didn't realize Rob was in heat and he returned home covered in blue gunk.
Well after today's announcement it totally makes sense why Scott and Adrianne aren't sitting next to each other.
@dark zeratul They're getting divorced after only two months of marriage.
But they were sitting directly next to each other. What panel were you watching?
@@MeanJohnDean Err....you might want to open your eyes when watching. They were not next to each other, Penny Johnson was sitting between them. :-)
It never fails to amaze me when something like this happens. How does one do that? Have a marriage last only two months?
Aren't you supposed to know the ins and outs of your partner before you tie the knot so that something like that will not happen?
@Quotenwagnerianer When I first read they were getting a divorce already, I thought maybe one of them had a secret that didn't come out before the wedding, but was a total deal breaker once it did. If it's not something like that, I don't really know what could happen in 2 months that would make them just say F it and not try to work it out and just divorce.
The Hulu announcement kind of ruins the show for me. I can't afford yet another streaming service, ... so until there is some sort of consolidation no more Orville.
It will likely be on Disney plus. Disney purchased the parent companies of Orville and Hulu.
That's not that good though. Disney lately consumes old franchises to kill them.
They did it with Marvel, Pixar, LucasFilm and just got 20th Century.
It won't be on Disney +, it can't for contractual reasons. The announcement is awful because The Orville is a network show that worked on a weekly basis with the "live" response of the fans week after week. On hulu you won't have that and if they're planning to do 13 episodes instead of 22 then the show is ruined since it's meant to be a true full season show.
Agreed. It is an episodic show. In the vein of ST:TNG. Seth said as much before the first season started. Shows that drop all at once and work for binge watching are ones where there is one major plot for the entire "season" be it 6, 8, 10, 12, or 13 episodes. None of the current popular streaming shows are episodic.
gptiede When season 3 comes out just search on google the Orville season 3 123movies and you can watch it for free from any country
@@FuzzyDlop I agree that it's an episodic, week by week show but it is not 'meant' to be a 'true full season' show. That's just bollocks, using the word 'true' like that is dumb elitism. A 13 episode show is still a full season, as their is no 'true' season length. A 22 episode season just ends up being stretched out and full of filler and they always have been. Shorter seasons are more compact and stay on point. Why do you think so many of the most highly regarded shows in recent years have all by in the 10-13 episode area?
If it's ruined then you can stop watching. Easy.
0:47 Star Trek Enterprise was amazing, why all this hate :(
Go figure. Because people is stupid, i guess.
Man he's an awesome singer!
ST; Enterprise was just fine- except for the last episode and the death of Tripp.
“Pleasures of the Table"
The Orville crew walk across the field from the village to their villa where a table in the garden is ready with fine foods and beverages. Captain Aria says goodnight to her new friends, the crew of Orville stay up to watch the sunrise, smoking, drinking, eating, talking and even singing.
Kelly - ‘The Gala of Galaxies was amazing, I love it here!’
Ed - ‘We need festive occasions like this on
the ship, to avoid depression, loneliness can be a struggle.’
Gordon - ‘I agree, I know a lot of the crew members become
homesick for Earth the farther away we go from the Milky Way galaxy.”
Ed - ‘Most of our crew are human so introducing
planetary union approved social activities should be simple.’
Kelly - ‘Oh, I want to plan a party, let’s do it!’
Congratulations on Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes on their marriage. Condolences on your divorce.
The fan who made the comment really put his foot in his mouth considering they separated on July 2...
@@galahadkoa1 YIKES, talk about an awkward moment.
Thank you so much for sharing! I can just see the top of Seth's head :(
To thank the loyal Fox fans who kept the Orville alive via social media and positive reviews, we are moving to Hulu. Don't feel disappointed, at least it isn't cancelled.
There won't be a season 4. Star Trek is expanding and Orville is becoming less and less relevant.
@@mrlarvux .... That's bullshit. Discovery is a piece of garbage and we'll wait and see how Picard goes. Orville keeps getting better and better, I'd say it's on track to do the usual 7 seasons that old Star Trek series used to do. Can't see that happening with either Discovery or Picard. The reason they moved to Hulu is probably because Seth doesn't want Disney to get their filthy hands on The Orville and ruin it just like they are ruining Star Wars.
@@mrlarvux cringe
@@TheStarWarsUniverse Discovery is at least picked up by Netflix and Amazon. I like Orville better, but the show will undoubtedly die after this season.
@@mrlarvux Netflix washed its hands of Discovery after they got screwed by CBS and because it was so shit, Amazon are idiots for taking it up, I guess they need a financial loss to help minimise their taxes, because it's going to be Discovery that will undoubtedly die after this season. The Orville is just hitting its strides.
20:16 love Moody Seth or pretend moody Seth. I can’t see his face so I can’t tell. I’m sure he’s smiling.
He's Moody because he knows the move to Hulu is a death note.
Brian_Trawinski its a bigger budget, more flexible schedule and millions of subscribers/streamers, i think youre thinking very small
WTF! PETER'S VOICE BROKE MY FUCKIN SPEAKERS!!!!!!!!!! ...:)... Dude got some BASS in those pipes...:)...
Hopefully they go all out this season. It feels like it might be the last one.
I frickn loved this show. Can't believe they moved it to another streaming platform. How many of those we supposed to have now? Hulu, Prime, cbs, fox, disney, netflix, plus ur satelite or tv? I'm sure I'm forgetting or don't no a few. But do have to say thanks to millennial's for creating the supply & demand for the companies to make even more money off of us. Then they were already milking us for. Instead of getting rid of the old way. You just created way for them to package special shit on stream amd charge us another 10 bucks a month to watch.
Disney bought Hulu and Fox, and Hulu already has Fox, FX and FXX shows/movies. Disney streamer will be offering a Disney, Hulu, ESPN bundle. Not that that makes it much better, but honestly I recently cut cable completely and just do streaming and I save A LOT of money, and I really don't miss cable at all.
SETH TREK - The cure for ST:D
Won't be watching season 3.
Dont have hulu.
Frank Dalton that’s a loss for you
O well that's the way it goes.
It will likely be on Disney plus. Disney purchased the parent companies of Orville and Hulu.
That's not that good though. Disney lately consumes old franchises to kill them.
They did it with Marvel, Pixar, LucasFilm and just got 20th Century..
Wow!
Thanks did not no that.
When season 3 comes out just search on google the Orville season 3 123movies and you can watch it for free from any country
It's a shame we cant see the costumes on the fans
the sound is so bad :(
seares 3 was super bring on 4
33:50 Obviously... The Orville Holiday Special, like Star Wars. This guy remade the original trilogy in Family Guy and claims to not have any idea how to make a musical version of the show. Callin BS he just doesn't want to do it.
Those are not the same thing. Doing one is not the same as doing the other. He may have ideas but making them work in a believable way, within the framework and context of the show is quite another. It worked in Buffy because spells are a thing, same goes for the Arrowverse and abilities. Orville doesn't have anything like that.
Even if he doesn't want to do it, so what? It's his show and he shouldn't give in to fan pressure to do something he doesn't want to.
To whomever it is that placed the pulpit in front of Seths face: Please think more when doing your job next time.
*The Orville:* everything STD should have been & more. *STD:* expect genital weeping.
When you watch for Seth MacFarlane, the creator and star, and they block him from your view... Gee thanks
Look at Grimes' face when Palicki comes out on stage.....oof.
JohannVF hes still in love
I love the show, but I might have to drop it in season 3. Streaming services suck and Hulu is the absolute worst. I just cannot afford a streaming service to watch a TV show. The move is absolutely asinine and they have lost a viewer.
Just curious, what didn't you like about Hulu? I just did the free trial and liked it so much I kept it. It's the cheapest one available too at $6/month. The move makes sense from a production standpoint and the fact they wouldn't be able to get episodes out in time for Fox's schedule. Fox definitely isn't going to rearrange their entire show schedule for one show. There's always the sneaky free tv things online, or you and a buddy could share a streaming account. I do the share account with all my streamers so no one is paying a lot and cut cable completely to save even more lol
Its 6 dollars a month and you can watch regular cable tv shows from fox, cbs, nbc and more a day after they air on cable, plus hundreds of movies, tv shows and award winning originals, they have millions of subscribers, I think the show has a bright future at hulu with a wayy bigger budget and more flexible schedule.
Ditto to this Johnny R!!! Plus anyone who cant/wont watch on Hulu can always buy the DVDs when they come out.
Kayla B yes i was thinking this too!
@@Gruesome_j Read my previous post.
Hulu? How sad. Fox should have tried harder to keep the show.
Disney bought Fox and Hulu lol
Terrible sound, get better mics
Who the hell did the closed captioning for this video? A two-year-old? It's atrocious!
A computer, lol. It's auto generated captioning. It's almost always hilariously bad :)
@@Strahan740i I have noticed that closed captioning everywhere has really gone to shit! I have one OTA channel that censors bad language in the CC BUT NOT in the audio? Makes NO sense?
@@gertie2454 No doubt. Someone likely felt it was a morally sound decision, but it's frustrating when someone feels the need to decide for others what is right. Captioning should not change anything, that's not their job.
Losing profanity also changes the impact of what they may say. "Give me the wrench" may be angry, it may be happy, it may be neutral but "Give me the fucking wrench" makes it safe to assume the speaker is irritated heh.
@@Strahan740i But it's even stupider when you remove it from the CC but leave the audio! Who are you protecting? The deaf? I'm pretty sure a lot of deaf people know & USE swear words. It's just weird!
I just remembered another really DUMB instance. I was watching some movies from the 30s & whenever they mentioned cocktails (which they did quite a lot in those days), they would blank it out to ****tails! I even sent them an email & told them that their algorthim sucked huge hairy balls! No surprise that they didn't answer.
HULU will be the end of the Orville.
John Parisi why do you say that?
@@tennisawareness3404 most people are not going to subscribe to ANOTHER service for one show.
John Parisi how do you know that it’s a significant part of the audience? I already have Hulu and I’m sure I’m not alone.
Agree
@John Parisi Totally get what you are saying, but I cut cable a while back completely just to save money, I did the free one month trial of Hulu just to catch up on The Orville S2 that I missed when it aired, and I liked it so much I decided to keep it. It actually has great stuff, much better newer movies than Netflix and it's the cheapest out there at $6/month. Plus with most streamers you can share accounts so you don't have to pay for all of them. For example I pay for Netflix and share the account with my dad, and he pays for Amazon Prime and shares the account with me. 2 streamers, one price.
Who the hell was the one that thought this camera position was a good idea? god. Worst video of all panels, sadly. And not a single first plane? lol. Well, sorry but as much as i love The Orville, i just cant watch this lol.
You can't even see Seth
To bad the show is pretty much dead.
Dead? What? Lol I thought Season 2 was so good!
@@kaylab4725 They are moving to Hulu and the 3rd season wont be out till the end of 2020. The show is dead. The first 75% of season 2 was boring.
@Brian_Trawinski I have and love Hulu so that's no biggie for me. I also love Stranger Things and that had 2 years between season 2 & 3 but Season 3 was still well worth the wait. I didn't find any of S2 boring, especially Identity 1&2 which would be in that first 75%. Seems like you really don't like the show, which is cool, it's not for everyone and to each their own. I do see a lot more love for the show than hate so I think the show will do good.
@@kaylab4725 Good for you. The majority of The Orville fan base doesn't have Hulu. Stranger things is a streaming series. It's a different animal with a large audience. No network series have made the transition to streaming services. They all get killed after 1 or 2 seasons.
Ok. I thought it seemed like a decent portion of fans do have Hulu, just from what I saw on Twitter when the announcement was made and the news was trending. Not trying to argue with you man, just saying I like both the show and Hulu and don't mind waiting for new episodes and that I don't think it will die after Season 3. You don't seem to enjoy the show anyway if you are bored by it, so if it does get cancelled you can be happy about it and if it gets another season you don't have to watch it. To each their own.
