Hey Everyone Thanks For Stopping By. First of all I am feeling better and can’t wait for the Denver race. This whole thing was so unreal never did I ever think I would say I couldn’t drive my race car. It was just the right move these things are way to fast to not to be at your best. I can’t thank you all enough for all the comments, likes subscribes you folks are awesome!!!
Good call on your part Clay. 👍 You didn't want to hurt yourself, your fellow racer in the other lane, the car, and your team. I hope you get to test stomping on the loud pedal before Bandimere. And I hope Brent Levistad gets you to record a bit on the RPM Act for PFI Speed.
Get well Clay I know how you feel I suffer from it after being hit by an 18 wheeler years ago when I worked for CalTrans So I pray that they get you all fixed up where you can race again I love to see you out there your the greatest
I just got out of the Hospital myself I had to have a operation I had a tumor in my bladder and guess how they removed it LOL! It was not fun but I am home recovering catching up on my RUclips anyway glad to see your ok and can stomp on that loud pedal still ;)
Thanks for the tec video clay I know you have to keep some parts secret and all but I love the channel and the dog's are awesome 👌 just keep doing what you doing dude, and for me and I hope I speak on behalf of all the fans that it took some heart to not drive the car man I really hope you back stomping on that loud pedal soon as possible 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Clay you’re the man brother. Vertigo is a terrible thing I hope it isn’t that.. Thank goodness your not there for a crash. Prayers for you Clay get better buddy . p.s. hospitals suck and are slow but very grateful to have them. 👍🏻🇺🇸😎🙏🏻🙏🏻
Seeing you hooked up to all the cables i was waiting to see Brent come in with the laptop to upload the "moon tune"....... Take care of yourself man....heal quick
Well at least you will heal up from your ear infection. It could be like what I have dealt with my entire life with the inner issues I have had. Which is a large part of why I went the route of working on cars, racecars, and whatever else needs to be fixed...
Clay almost sounds like your dealing with a bout of vertigo! Glad you made the decision to hop out of the car, and that you didnt get hurt. Safety first! Hope to see you in the driver seat in Denver! Get well soon!!
It must be weird to see the live stream of your race car going on the track without you. Take some rest and get well soon to stomp on Loud Pedal Again !
So happy to hear yer gunna be ok, great call shutting down, that’s experience talkin. Listened to what yer body told ya and saved yer self and the car .... proud of ya 🥃🥃🥓🥓
Hey Clay, love your channel but I have to say, having that shelf for your dog in front of your wifes seat in the toter home is extremely dangerous as if you were ever hit head on that shelf would most likely kill her when she might have only been minorly hurt.. Be safe my friend..
Only been to Norwalk once but a good memory there; A buddy made a pass in his 72 Camaro Z28. A 388 SBC " T-400 8" converter, 4.88 gears, I forget the ET but I ran it next (I was heavier than him) with nothing changed and I beat his et! BTW; Clay I Love the warning on your 'dog habitat' (I agree totally!)
It sounds like the Hospital did a lot of unnecessary testing on you based on your symptoms of feeling dizzy from a 4G Top Fuel Drag Car start when you know you have an Inner Ear Infection. Maybe 2 weeks rest with some slower start tests before you go full throttle.
@4:30,, ",, but MORE IMPORTANTLY we have a bathroom!" Indeed. 50 + minutes sitting in traffic most ladies and for sure we elder gents can't afford to be too far from tha 'little girls and little boyz room'. All the elder gents (I'm 74) will know of which I speak. We don't go alot but we must go often :)
@18:54,, "A lot of stuff happens in your body when you put it into four and half geez" Especially your inner ear. If you all remember your Jr. High health class, the hammer., anvil and stirrup don't appreciate being slammed to the back of your inner ear, they smack together and make you wanna throw up. Clay did the right thing, GET OUT OF THE CAR until you're 100%!
Definitely like watching your shows. Just curious because when I went through NASCAR tech one of my buddies from school said he’s related to you?? Just kind of curious if maybe you have some family that went through NASCAR tech???
Amazing video from start to finish. I grew up on the track. National Trails Raceway in Kirkersville,OH. After Clark died, his brother refused to keep us this"foolishness". I knew both the Radar brothers. Unfortionally, I've never been to Noewalk.
Glad you're ok! Austin is a good driver. Tim Wilkerson is a cool guy! Love Krista Baldwin! You can tell she is so excited to be driving top fuel. So happy for her.
Hope you get more betterer Clay. Always smarter to pull yourself out, and get checked out, than to just plow through making things worse. In the Hospital you looked like you were hooked up to a RACEPAK DATA LOGGER ! hahaha😆
When I first saw the title, I thought your back was acting up after that hard shot you took a while back. Glad to see it's an inner ear problem, instead. They should be able to get the fluid out of it, and get it workin' right, again. The inner ear has everything to do with equilibrium; as you found out. I'm just getting over an ear issue, myself, but it was only the second time I've ever had an ear ache, and because of why I had the first one, I've been a BIT stressed. It seems to be gone, now, so I'm hoping the CT scan will, in fact, be negative. I've been spooked. The first ear ache in my 67 years was last Spring. It cropped up after I had Covid in Jan. Kept aching thru an MRI, a CT scan, and right up until I had my R tonsil and adjacent lymph node removed in late July during cancer surgery. The only symptom I had was the ear ache and a big old swollen lymph node under my ear, (looked like about 25% of a ping pong ball was sticking out.), and the ear ache is a very common symptom of the type of cancer I had. Stress the HAD. I've been 100% cancer free since the surgery, and some experimental target immune system meds, (same tech as the Covid vaccine is making incredible breakthroughs in treating certain types of cancer. It's why it was still experimental when I got it. But, the trial I was involved in was for dialing in the dosage; they already knew it worked; so I knew I wasn't getting a placebo. It kept me from needing radiation or chemo.) So, I'm glad to hear you're just dealing with an ear issue, instead of a potentially chronic back injury; I think you can see why when the ear ache came back this Spring, I got a bit stressed. Especially when the 2-3 meds they gave me didn't really help. When we had the 110° + weather here in the NW, the ear ache just disappeared; finally dried out my Oregon noggin'. Give 'em hell, when you get back in the seat. oh, yeah, re: burst panels; isn't that what's stopped the 80# chunks of aluminum (blower) from flying off when they backfire? LOL Regards, GeoD
Watching young Austin Prock drive the PartsPlus Top Fuel car. To be honest it kinda breaks my heart. We wish Austin ALL the very best and know he's very much qualified to pilot the hotrod hopefully to a WIN,, but it hurts nonetheless. You get well Clay Millican, your fans AND the Parts Plus race team need/want you back in the pilot seat ASAP!
I'd feel bummed that you weren't able to do win at Norwalk and Austin Prock almost nearly pulled a Cruz Pedregon 1st Win off. I'd hope that one of your Drag Racing Peers pull off the SRX for a Change of Venue and I'd hope your Illinois Team Peer Tim Wilkerson, who actually calls his Shop and Base in Springfield, actually does Win for a Change of Venue.
Dear God ,I come to you rite know God in Jesus grace Christ name put clay in your hand and protect him God in the blood 🩸 of Jesus yes God praise you for your interceding with and stopping this demonic dizziness or what ever it is I command it to get out of clay Millican, love you clay, thank you Jesus grace Christ amen. Thanks clay we love you / I love you can your channel thank you , BigAl California.
Oh Clay , I'm so sorry to hear you being unwell . I know the cars are so cool , but you got to come first , man . You did the right thing passing-up the race , but we can hardly wait until you Stomp that Loud Pedal , Brother . I appreciate you're a busy man , but when you have a few minutes , check out these encouraging words at Isaiah 33 verse 24 . God bless . Pete
Clay, I am a not as healthy, 54 year old, definite drinker and my concern for you would be VPV or Vestibular Positional Vertigo. I personally have episodes or bouts with this and have on and off since I was 22 years old. It is extremely debilitating. I have always been concerned that I might experience an episode while at the racetrack, however, fortunately I have been fine. If you'd like to hear any of my experiences or compare notes please do not hesitate to leave a message here or DM me on Instagram @oaktown_hustler. Good luck with feeling better and I hope to see you guys on the Western Swing. Paul Langlie
Hey buddy, glad you’re OK, you really had us all worried there for a while. They didn’t have too much information, and lack of information makes our brains run wild. Austin did an awesome job in the car. You’re number one fan was awfully worried about you. Glad you’re OK.
Mini S.. they are fun cars to drive, and being 6'10 they even have plenty of headroom for me.. well with the seat all the way down on the floor. (unlike a new Mustang, even with the seat all the way down I'm looking above the windshield) I'd love to go to a race someday but I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford it and with being autistic (not majorly, just enough to make everything difficult) and suffering from social anxiety it might not be possible for me to be around that many people, even if I took CBD to help with it. Oh man.. ear issues.. I know those all too well. I've been fighting to stave off getting an infection in my right ear for 3 days and now suddenly today I woke up to a ton of pressure and pain in my left ear.. and I've had 4 sets of tubes in my ears.. still have one in the right but the left came out 16 years ago now. In the last 3 years I've had probably 60 infection in my right ear and 4 in my left.. pretty sure that tube needs to come out. (though I also mostly sleep on my right side) I've also got cholesteatoma in my mastoid bones so I get random vertigo trips.. Not fun to have ear issues. They should've sent you straight to an ENT and had your ears vacuumed out and a little boric acid sprayed in to dry everything out. I actually have to have that done every couple months to keep the vertigo under control.. Unfortunately after my local hospital was bought out by Adventist Health they stopped paying enough to keep the ENT's on payroll and they left and it's been 3 years without me being able to get that done and it's out of control.. 3 years and they've never found a new doctor.
Get this thing figured out so you can be healthy for years to come. Smart for you to get checked out and highly respectful to your competition, sponsors, fans and the NHRA. I wish more people did the right thing when they knew something was a little off. The world would be a better place. Clay Millican leads by example. Get healthy soon!!!
It's a total pro who wisely stands down when he's not 100% - dealing with 4+Gs and 300+ mph. Get back at it when you get things sorted out, and thanks for the vids. Pulling for you and the crew!
Holy S(omething), you are old! I`m only 54 and almost 3 months old... ;) Nice to hear that you are in good shape! Continue to stomp on the loud pedal! Love from Norway!
Tough break Clay. Wise move on driving, the whole balance center happens in the inner ear and by the sounds of it you are probably experiencing a bit of vertigo as well. Feel better in Jesus name amen!👍👌🤙
I hope all is well with you Clay. I really enjoy watching your videos, I know when I comment on some of these videos are from last year. I like all the videos so far. Top Fuel Rules!!!
I'm surprised your Momma didn't tell you "Son, if you finna go stompin on that loud pedal and it makes you dizzy, you need to take a few weeks of rest."
Cleveland Clinic is big league. Hope you are better soon. Nobody likes to crawl out and let another guy drive HIS car but your health is way more important than one race.. Take care buddy and get well. You know your body better than anybody else.. Take care buddy
At times this moving of this vlog is making me dizzy 🥴, can you please please be a little bit slower with the moving of your camera, nice , are those jets the same as holly jets, Holly makes a jet set kit, loll, oh ok I just learned about that small hole in the blower bottom, nice , thanks BigAl California praise Jesus grace Christ amen BigAl California.
Love watching your videos, what happened to the General Lee haven't seen that car since the 80's. Haven't seen you since then either. Tell everybody in Drummond's hi
Man, if there is one thing I don't like to see it's a drag racer in the hospital! Especially with all them wires hanging out of ya Clay! God bless brother, sending our prayers that you have a speedy recovery. Love ya man!
Get better soon! I have never been much of a drag racing fan but I have been a Clay Millican fan for years. Dont want ya passing out halfway down the strip. I had a big race I missed due to extreme heat. I was afraid in that 3 layer suit that some bad stuff would happen if I passed out while on my loud pedal. Prayers brother
Good call. Inner ear problems are nothing to ignore. You really don't need to get vertigo at half track with the hammer down. You can't fly by instrument flight rules in a rocket....there aren't any.
What was your VitaminD level. Inner ear uses calcium crystals to give you balance. Vitamin D is essential to most calcium dependent body functions. Vertigo has a strong correlation to vit d deficiency.
Saw they hooked you up to the RacePak. Best wishes man. I don’t think fans can ever understand the feeling of a solid launch. Let alone when you have an injury.
Made the same decision as a commercial pilot clay more than once. Wise man. It was the right move. You'll be stepping on the loud pedal soon enough. Get well friend!
Had to go to the hospital dyno and get your tune checked. Hoping you continue to get better. Take care of yourself. Those loud pedals aren't gonna stomp themselves.
I was invited by a friend to go and watch you all. We drove there from Michigan and it rained the whole way there. I really didn't think you going to be able to run that night. But when it dried out you guys were turning some fast times. Saturday was awesome Sunday what I thought was going to be a great day until the hurricane hit. We went home and didn't get to see the end. Glad your doing better. Love your videos and your dogs. God bless
everyone and their dog is going to have stories of friends or family member that have had ear issues but here goes mine too! my father at 55 developed a sensitivity to artificial sweeteners which caused him to have inner ear issues. dr. couldn't explain why but once he cut our diet soft drinks and zero calorie flavoured water the ear issues went away. said a prayer for your healing, all the best clay!
Clay it took one hell of a man to say you wasn't feeling it! So take as long as you need we will be here for when you get back! To Stomp on that loud pedal! Love the channel and content keep up the great work! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
Sounds you got crystal disease. I got this 6m ago. Its like you got drunk and dizzy at the same time. Mine started with a Attack dizziness i almost passed out and fall on the floor. This crystal disease are in the ears and the crystals are stuck so it can not help the brain with balance
hope you are feeling better clay, I am hoping to make it up to bandimere for friday night qualifying. bandimere is my home track where i race bikes. see you there.
Glad that you're okay anyone that knows you and knows of you knows you're a tough old conger lol hopefully you're back to 100% soon stomping on that loud pedal can't wait to see you in person soon
i watched a clip the other night by Rob Wendland where he made a whale to direct air equally in the intake manifold ports and apparently john force made a copy of it, a billet one piece made from chrome moly and i notice you dont run one so interested in the thought of them as in works dont work, gain or not worth the effort etc.. see the clip here: ruclips.net/video/roM7oEN_mO4/видео.html
Clay Millican definitely made the right call . Anyone pulling those g's at that speed you need to be on your game for your safety and others plus the sponsors get pissed when you tear cars up . Lol
Well looks like Governor Inslee here in Washington ruined my summer. Seattle is off the schedule and I live in Spokane. I was gonna predict a win for you and the team, it’s over due and well deserved. Just ask Tony Petragon
An ear problem is a huge deal for a racer of any kind, I had an impacted glob of wax in my left ear back when I was road racing motorcycles, I went from being a master of riding on the edge of traction to a crashing machine. The way I my ear was diagnosed was pure chance, I had gone to my doctor to have my elbow drained from breaking the bursa sac during one of my recent numerous wrecks when my doctor just happened to look in my ears to discover the bloody wax glob, he removed the wax and after a course of antibiotics I was back to my old self. The fact you were able to feel you had a problem Clay and get in touch with some sharp diagnostic doctors has saved you a bunch of problems, ear issues are sneaky and needless to say can cause some real problems if not discovered and treated. Get ready to feel 10 years younger, I was surprised to find out that even though you walk fine and in general have no problem as such your ears really do much more than let us hear. Glad to see you are otherwise healthy Clay, the most we can do is give it our best shot and hope we can stay in shape like Don Garlits and Fred Bickford, those guys as you know are up there age wise but are spry and sharp, good luck Clay!
Dude you dont ever have to feel bad for doing that. You got more heart and bal-s than most. Best wishes on speedy rebound. You are the real deal. Never forget that
Stand up move stepping out of the car. Some folks would try to be a hero and it does not always end well. We are all proud of you and the team this weekend. Was fun watching Prock do his thing. Get better soon!

I know it’s hard to step aside….
Only a real man can admit he needs to take care of himself first!!!! You are the real man Clay.
Clay you have got the best reality channel of anybody on RUclips, but that's my personal opinion.
That was the best thing to do everybody has to be safe and there's no short cuts to safety.
“ got enough cables to wire up another race car “ Clay your the man , the positivity in any situation beautiful soul man ! Feel better 🤙🏻
Hope you’re feeling better quickly
And through it all you kept that classic Clay Millican smile going. Get well sir.
Clay glad you are feeling better ! Austin did a great job filling in but we got to get you back in that Parts Plus dragster ! GET WELL and GOD BLESS!
Clay you’re the man brother. Vertigo is a terrible thing I hope it isn’t that.. Thank goodness your not there for a crash. Prayers for you Clay get better buddy . p.s. hospitals suck and are slow but very grateful to have them. 👍🏻🇺🇸😎🙏🏻🙏🏻

PFI... And a Cleetus reference... Love it! Glad you are ok!
Love the channel and get better I want to see you in that seat...👍👍
Can’t wait to see you back on the track, great call this weekend Clay! You’ve got a winning car and you’ll raise that Wally here shortly
Sorry u didn't get to run but def the right decision !! Feel better soon
Just be careful when ya go to Denver, Clay. If you have an inner ear infection, high altitude will excarbate that..
Clay almost sounds like your dealing with a bout of vertigo! Glad you made the decision to hop out of the car, and that you didnt get hurt. Safety first! Hope to see you in the driver seat in Denver! Get well soon!!
Get ta feelin better, buddy!! Takin care of yourself is the first priority
It must be weird to see the live stream of your race car going on the track without you.
Take some rest and get well soon to stomp on Loud Pedal Again !
Clay, you keep it real and genuine, which seems rare these days. Keep up the great work!
So happy to hear yer gunna be ok, great call shutting down, that’s experience talkin. Listened to what yer body told ya and saved yer self and the car .... proud of ya 🥃🥃🥓🥓
You don’t call it “that loud pedal” for nothing. Hope you feel better soon. Love the vids, thank you.
This reminds me of a Dizzy Dean story: he got hit in the head at the 1934 World Series and said to reporters They X-rayed my head and found nothing."
Hope you get well soon clay
Clay... Just return to the office and produce those "W" 's...........
Buck shot is missing her Daddy \000/
Aloha

And the kid gets paid , loll, nice first job fir that videography person, thanks BigAl California, praise Jesus grace Christ amen.
Hat’s off to Austin...Shows you don’t know what’s going to happen next...pedal is just not quite as loud without you in the seat...take care... B.
I hope all is well with you Clay. I really enjoy watching your videos, I know when I comment on some of these videos are from last year. I like all the videos so far. Top Fuel Rules!!!
CLAY thank u so much for all of the TOP FUEL candy please keep showin the why and how the how to's regarding ur hotrod its so kool man
I'm surprised your Momma didn't tell you "Son, if you finna go stompin on that loud pedal and it makes you dizzy, you need to take a few weeks of rest."
Somebody upstairs must be looking out for you as you couldn't have landed at a better facility than Cleveland Clinic.
Just joined the Chanel. I’m liking you content, thanks for sharing the inner workings of a fuel team. Great presentations.
Nice to talk to you briefly Sunday! Good to see Austin go a few rounds. Make sure you don't lose your ride hahahahaa!!! Thanks again for the episode!
OMG, that looked like Baytown a few weeks ago! Hope you're back 100% quickly.
Had to go to the hospital dyno and get your tune checked.
Hoping you continue to get better. Take care of yourself.
Those loud pedals aren't gonna stomp themselves.
I'm glad you checked out OK for a kid of 50 something. look forward to your return. Big of you to know when to step aside.
Good luck! Hopefully they get it figured out quick and you're back to stompin' on that loud pedal!!!
Glad you are okay. Really enjoy following you on Facebook. It was fun seeing you in Houston last month. Stay safe.
Hope you get better soon. Austin is probably my favorite young driver
hope you are feeling better clay, I am hoping to make it up to bandimere for friday night qualifying. bandimere is my home track where i race bikes. see you there.
Glad that you're okay anyone that knows you and knows of you knows you're a tough old conger lol hopefully you're back to 100% soon stomping on that loud pedal can't wait to see you in person soon
If I had to make a choice between ending up in the hospital or the morque. I'm gonna go with the hospital every time but that's just me.
I've suffered through several bouts with vertigo and it is no joke! I can only imagine what 4 g's does to your inner ear!
i watched a clip the other night by Rob Wendland where he made a whale to direct air equally in the intake manifold ports and apparently john force made a copy of it, a billet one piece made from chrome moly and i notice you dont run one so interested in the thought of them as in works dont work, gain or not worth the effort etc.. see the clip here: ruclips.net/video/roM7oEN_mO4/видео.html
Clay Millican definitely made the right call . Anyone pulling those g's at that speed you need to be on your game for your safety and others plus the sponsors get pissed when you tear cars up . Lol
Right decision , once the dr's have had a look in your earhole you'll be back . Take care . 👍🇬🇧
Well looks like Governor Inslee here in Washington ruined my summer. Seattle is off the schedule and I live in Spokane. I was gonna predict a win for you and the team, it’s over due and well deserved. Just ask Tony Petragon
Clay, you are a smart man and made the right decision. You may have saved your life and others too. May the lord be with you…
Clay i started watch your channel and now i am go to build a S-10 drag truck run et. first time in 40 years
An ear problem is a huge deal for a racer of any kind, I had an impacted glob of wax in my left ear back when I was road racing motorcycles, I went from being a master of riding on the edge of traction to a crashing machine.
Glad you are OK Clay. Hurry Back. No one stomps on that loud peddle as loud as YOU!
You the man, Clay drivers like you are the reason drag racing is the best motorsport. Feel better soon.
That's the Good stuff that is what Winnings all about..Keep up the Good work and get her done
5:40... hell yeah😎 Love your content Clay, can't stop watching!
Dude you dont ever have to feel bad for doing that. You got more heart and bal-s than most. Best wishes on speedy rebound. You are the real deal. Never forget that
Great team decisions all around. Drivers and families first, that you buddy.
The “jets” dose that mean carburetors? Or is it something beyond my understanding?
Clays content is both bad ass and wholesome. I'm surprised he doesn't have more subs.
Saw the trailer full of Crown Vic's and thought the exact same thing.
Stand up move stepping out of the car. Some folks would try to be a hero and it does not always end well. We are all proud of you and the team this weekend. Was fun watching Prock do his thing. Get better soon!
I have 35mm pics of Haddock Bros. From Green Valley
