Some of the greatest lyrics of all time from ONE of the GREATEST! "Positively 4th Street" You got a lotta nerve To say you are my friend When I was down you just stood there grinning You got a lotta nerve To say you got a helping hand to lend You just want to be on the side that's winning You say I let you down You know it's not like that If you're so hurt why then don't you show it You say you lost your faith But that's not where it's at You had no faith to lose and you know it I know the reason That you talk behind my back I used to be among the crowd you're in with Do you take me for such a fool To think I'd make contact With the one who tries to hide what he don't know to begin with You see me on the street You always act surprised You say, "How are you? Good luck" But you don't mean it When you know as well as me You'd rather see me paralyzed Why don't you just come out once and scream it No, I do not feel that good When I see the heartbreaks you embrace If I was a master thief perhaps I'd rob them And now I know you're dissatisfied With your position and your place Don't you understand it's not my problem I wish that for just one time You could stand inside my shoes And just for that one moment I could be you Yes I wish that for just one time You could stand inside my shoes You'd know what a drag it is to see you...
This solid jab at personal hypocrisy was clearly influenced by the Beau Brummels' first hit "Laugh, Laugh" on the same theme. The Brummels had the line, "You thought you were too good, you had a lot of nerve"; Dylan starts here with, "You've got a lot of nerve to say you are my friend." That being said, Ron Elliott & the Brummels surely owe that part of their sound that was not British-group-inspired to Bob Dylan, whose song "One Too Many Mornings" they charted with the following year.
I agree. Have never seen that any rendition of this song is a cover. Sounds and looks like Bob Dylan to me and I’ve been listening to Dylan for over 50 years.
This is a truly amazing music video.

Can relate to the song. A classic
This is a great video since there’s nothing out there that comes close to being audio or visually successful. Thank you!
The most wonderful put down, put off song.. Nothing like it.. This was sure the era of great songs, unlike today's trash..
Amazing sound and video

"Positively 4th Street"
You got a lotta nerve
To say you are my friend
When I was down you just stood there grinning
You got a lotta nerve
To say you got a helping hand to lend
You just want to be on the side that's winning
You say I let you down
You know it's not like that
If you're so hurt why then don't you show it
You say you lost your faith
But that's not where it's at
You had no faith to lose and you know it
I know the reason
That you talk behind my back
I used to be among the crowd you're in with
Do you take me for such a fool
To think I'd make contact
With the one who tries to hide what he don't know to begin with
You see me on the street
You always act surprised
You say, "How are you? Good luck"
But you don't mean it
When you know as well as me
You'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once and scream it
No, I do not feel that good
When I see the heartbreaks you embrace
If I was a master thief perhaps I'd rob them
And now I know you're dissatisfied
With your position and your place
Don't you understand it's not my problem
I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment I could be you
Yes I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is to see you...

De los mejores videos que he visto en toda la plataforma de este TMZ .... Es Dylan o me estoy quedando sorda pero no creo que se trate de un cover.
Best cover of this tune I have heard. Should have more views, but this tune is too old to interest the bubble gummers of the 21st century.
What makes you think this is a "cover"?
@@pat3834 Should have said upload , because of the quality. Yes it is not a cover. It's Dylan's
song.
