In 1991, I started a punk rock radio show with a friend. At the time we wrote a bunch of punk rock record companies and bands and the very first record that was sent to us was this masterpiece. It has been 32 years now and I still love this record.

Found this record for 99 cents at Rhino Records in Albany NY in the early 90s. Had just moved back from SF and had heard of the band and was curious. Soon mail ordered everything I could find by them. And was told if I liked them check out J Church! I did and have been a huge fan ever since. Moved to Austin around the same time Lance did. It was weird having one of my favorite musicians working at a local record and then video store. Met him a couple of times, wish I could have got to know him better. RIP Lance, one of the all time greatest rock/punk songwriters...

Punk rock is great, because you don't know if they are funny angry or really angry.
