The algorithm one is TOO accurate. I watch content ONE time on a topic I need a hand in, got recommendations on it for almost 2 months before I went back into my viewed videos, removed the like from it, and deleted it from my watched list..... and the recommendations quit a couple days later. Sad that this is what they force people to do to remove suggestions.

The procrastination thing is so me ... and the RUclips thing is too real. Recommendations are so single track minded and repetitive, it's ridiculous. No, RUclips. If you recommended a specific video 10 times already and I didn't click on it, chances are pretty high that I won't click on it the 11th time either! Calling that system an algorithm is an insult to all actual alogrithms in the world!
yeah, the youtube algorithm is getting annoying lately, no matter how much variety I like, if I watch one video..... and yeah was fun or interesting or heaven forbid I look up something I wanted to see one more time a few years later.... nothing but, and so many channels of exactly the same. However, have been enjoying suggestions for this channel the past day or two..... so............
