    You know how sometimes you listen to a certain song or music and how it takes you back to a particular moment from your past ? and if that moment is a good memory it just feels good. Back in 2011 i was a student in China. Listening to the music at 1:27 i couldn't help but shed a few tears thinking about my university life. Can somebody please tell me the name of that music ? PLEASE ! .

    @xi11west I am Tibetan born in Singapore. My parents and grandparents fled Tibet back in 1968. Before they fled, my uncle was arrested and imprisoned because he was praying with a pic of HH 14 Dalai Lama. These Guards then took away his wife and son. My Family never heard from them ever since. My grandfather was shot on his left shoulder. He died just before reaching Dharamsala. Shame on you chinese. My name is Sonam Wangdu and if there's a need for war, I will re-enlist myself to fight china.

    Tibet is home to 7 millions people. Not 2.5 millions maybe you might not be counting Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, some part of Yunnan Province all CCP renamed Tibetan Ancestral land call AMDO and KHAM in Tibetan. Y’all westerner are doing exactly what CCP wanted you to do Consciously or subconsciously. Tibet is way bigger than just TAR Tibet autonomous region.

      Tibetans are not Chinese period. They are two different race, culture and land. Han Chinese are lowland people while Tibetans are people living on Tibetan plateau. China occupied Tibet and repress the Tibetans so much. Tibet has seen many uprising against Chinese rule since the occupation and it will never stop because Chinese never treat Tibetans with respect and Tibetans never trust Chinese. You should learn the Communist Chinese policy in Tibet and Xingjang.

      @@bhoepa5550 Who cares about policy or righteous causes? Who cares about race and legacy and tradition? No country willingly gives up land, not without a fight. I don't think Tibet would win a fight any more than I think Texas or Hawaii would (the US version of Tibet, different people, race, language, culture, assimilated by the US back when imperialism was the hottest thing).

    @nilbud Have you ever had the pleasure of meeting him? I have, he is a man of peace. He wants peace everywere including for his homeland. You speak of him like some common criminal when he is something your not. Peacefull, forgiving and has the truly uniqe ability to love everyone including people that speak ill of him such as yourself. As for the second line, are you refering to Louis XVI? He was a lazy king that only wanted luxury for himself. Dalai Lama wants luxury for others.

    Dear @BBCWorldwide - It is unfortunate that you showcase Tibet as part in a so-called "Wild China" documentary, when Tibet by its own sovereignty, is a state separate of China. It is a slap in the face of all who seek freedom for Tibet, as well as a sore show of disrespect for the many lives lost in this struggle. The producer should hang their head in shame for playing such an ignorant role against the just cause of the freeing of the Tibetan people.

    Tibet was never historically part of China. The Yuan Empire were Mongols. The Ming Empire had no control over Tibet. The Qing Empire were Manchus & never treated Tibet as part of China. When the Qing Dynasty fell in 1911, Tibet became fully independent again. The Republic of China (1912-1949) had no control over Tibet's internal or external affairs. The PLA invaded in 1950 & since then Tibet has been an occupied country & colony of the PRC.

    • @mycellphone4067
      @mycellphone4067 7 лет назад +2

      What kind of logic is that? There were government departments and officials physically located in Tibet during the Qing Dynasty and when the British invaded Tibet, they were signing treaties with those officials. That's not part of China? The ROC was too busy fighting Japan and then the civil war during 1912-1949 to worry about Tibet. The PLA liberated the Tibetan poor from their landlords who were protected by the lama(s) same as they liberated the poor in the other provinces earlier. Yes, I love Tibet too. And China.

    A beautifully done series but I was a bit disappointed in this section. Was the Dalai Lama's plight mentioned or the fact that the Chinese kidnapped the true reincarnation to the Dalai Lama? He hasn't been seen since and is likely dead. Sad what China has done with the place but inevitable in the long run. There is a lot of money in tourism.
