Yeah some leg separation too. She can fly on that vault but I say 9.95 max. Hope that vault is devalued next year. Rated less than Yurchenko full in code of points. Easier to land than 1 1/2. It's going to become the next Yurchenko full.
The height on the vault was amazing but the vertical hand stand at 0:23 when changing from the higher bar to the lower bar was unbelievable! Great performance Haleigh!
who tf is judging these meets? it was so bluntly obvious she hopped on her vault..? lack of body position in her bail and flexed feet on the dismount on bars and if being picky her leaps were not 100%. i adore haleigh but come on it’s not that hard to judge gymnastics.
i agree. college gymnastics is usually judged a lot less harsh, her feet were incredibly flexed in that fault.. and her legs in the bar dismount definitely did not make it a perfect 10. she really need to work on pointing her toes in her twisting too. “shes made history” by these standards a rec kid could make history.. 🙄
It’s not new though. Look back 5 years at Florida’s Alex McMurtry’s dty or triple full on floor and that’s just one example from one team. Nadia herself had a scoot back on her uneven bars 10. Plenty have got them for being on their toes and with the baby pogo bounce in NCAA’s. The only part of this that wasn’t history making was the 10 for the vault. So guess I’m just saying it’s always been a rule.

Haleigh is handling the role of veteran leader of this young team perfectly. The anchor spot has only brought out her best. Best of luck ladies, going for a National Championship.
Love Haleigh but the 10s were ridiculous, especially the one for her vault which had obvious deductions. As someone who thinks AI will be far more destructive to society than it will be helpful, I do believe that judging gymnastics will be one arena that will be vastly improved by its adoption.
VT feet slid back, 9.95 UB was a 10.0 1st tumbling pass had a stutter step with the back leg. 3rd tumbling pass, she fell out of little on the front leg stutter step as well. imho, a 9.9-9.95
