NO TICKET NEEDED!! Epic day at the Little League World Series AND Little League Classic

- Did you know that you can attend the Little League World Series FOR FREE? I had no idea because somehow I'd NEVER been to this iconic event in Williamsport, PA. Crazy, huh? So I watched the kids play for a bit before rushing over to Muncy Bank Ballpark for the MLB game that night -- the "Little League Classic" -- between the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies. And guess what? Without a ticket for THAT, I still found a way to watch the action and snag some baseballs!
Huge thanks to the entire crew behind the left-center field wall. They did a tremendous job of building scaffolding that was tall enough to provide a view into this tiny stadium, and they kindly welcomed me and my videographer to join them.
Shoutout to my intern Max Edelman (@max_edelman on Insta) for helping to set this up and to Brendan (@icesportss on TikTok) for striking me out in my first lifetime Blitzball at-bat. (FYI: I drew a walk against him in my first plate appearance, so my lifetime Blitzball on-base percentage is .500, thank you very much.)

i really like that mlb plays a game here. minimal amenities, limited seating, in an older style neighborhood. Just gives it a real vintage feel it seems like.

Good to see the families, little kids and the big kids lol, having fun. Baseball is a great escape from all the troubles of the world.
Except at Coors Field where they create extra troubles.

This was awesome! I've always enjoyed the occasional outside of the stadium or unique vantage point video. On top of that, it's always nice to see content from places that not a lot of people can attend and show how the community around it interacts.

@@zackhample we got to the grocery store, but a block of ice (vs cubed in a bag). Take it out of the bag and add a towel or shirt to sit on. Go to a golf course hill ……and that’s our sledding!! “Ice Blocking”
I live in williamsport pa for 17 years always love watching the mlb play at bowman field I wish I was there thanks buddy for filming it for use
We were making our way home from an East Coast trip a couple of weeks ago and had to make the detour from I-80 up to see the ball parks. What a beautiful setting! One of the differences between then and now is the hill and the grassy areas are no longer green from the sliding and foot traffic.

Hey Zack, next season, when you come to Toronto, you should take a stop in London Ontario to see the oldest active baseball grounds in North America, Labatt Park. London is about two hours from Toronto, halfway between Toronto and Detroit.
I will keep this in mind.

The only way to get tickets to that MLB game aside from being a Little Leaguer or their family is to enter a lottery while being a resident of Lycoming County. They give away 50 pairs of tickets for it to residents. I wish they would open the lottery to the surrounding counties, I'm just outside of it and would def enter to get tickets if i was able. I'm glad you were able to make the trek to Willpo to see the LLWS, I try to go every couple years.

Chris has like five different TV jobs that pay more than I do. He also hates the travel (as do I, though not to his extent) and I found someone else who's more into it -- for now. Chris and I are good. I love the man, and you'll see him again on future shoots.
