Thank you for providing detailed cargo area measurements. This is often neglected by other reviews. BTW, you sound suspiciously like Matt Farah.

You’re lucky. We ordered ours back in mid March and now it’s stuck at the distribution center in NJ for who knows how long for some QC hold. The rumors are churning away on the LC forums; sounds like we won’t see our FE until July. Bummer…

Mine on hold too. Since late April. I can’t get any reason why or when will be released. What is going on with Toyota?

Despite owning a Landcruiser 200 as well as a new 5th Edition 4Runner Limited, the previous Landcruiser 200 is/was grossly outdated both inside and out. Frankly, had little to no curb appeal. The 4Runner Limited was actually better looking. However, the interior in both was horrible.
This new Landcruiser is much improved both inside and outside and long overdo.
And price wise, this new Landcruiser is every bit as expensive as the outgoing model once you get it well equipped.

I saw one on the freeway here in southern California around the time Toyota had the 4 runner reveal - the Land Cruiser is sorta odd looking in real life on paved road.

Kinda reminds me of the Isuzu Trooper from back in the day.

I had a 1987 Trooper II when I was in College in the Early 2000's. I loved that thing and still kinda miss it.

The Isuzu Trooper was a great looking SUV. Classic model.

The previous Landcruiser was the worse looking of the entire line of LC's. It had absolutely no styling. The interior was straight out of the 90's.
This looks much more expensive and much better. These are approx $85k well-equipped.

Why 91 octane in this while the tacoma with same engine is 87

That’s a very good question and unfortunately I don’t know the answer to it

      presumably fulltime 4wd

@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD isn’t the limited tacoma and upcoming 4runner limited full time 4wd? that doesn’t add up either

My guess is that it’s tuned slightly different than the Tacoma and the 4 Runner.

    • @providentpathfinders219
      @providentpathfinders219 5 месяцев назад

@@Rested_Mind i have a feeling that it’s none of that. I have a hunch it’s do to a miscommunication on Toyotas part. The landcruiser coming from Japan and the Tacoma and other hybridMAX vehicles being assembled in the US. Watch there be a bullitin and you have to take your landcruiser to the dealership so they can change the sticker at the gas cap 😂😂

I think it was a good move on the part of Toyota to bring back the Xterra. Maybe Nissan can bring back the Land Cruiser.

First off, I saw one of these in person yesterday and there are no Xterra vibes in person. They look much better in person. But also, the current Armada pretty much looks like the previous Land Cruiser.

In the flesh, it looks like an old school Land Cruiser updated nicely. It is large and very tall. Very commanding and has an enormous road presence.
