Mel C's sculpted and polished body is EVERYTHING... not to mention her voice, true backbone of the group.
I don't think people ever gave them the serious respect they demanded. Their band was always incredible. The girls just were so over the top amazing.

@@Bettyboop08 I'm glad we never had the technology we have now back then because part of their appeal was the anticipation and excitement of seeing what they would look like and what they would do next, it kept everyone in suspense and made sure there was a constant buzz around them!
This song still sounds current and fresh after 22 years, it hasn’t aged a day. Mel C and Mel B owned it with their solo parts, they truly gave life to it.
I stop what I'm doing when a spice girls song is playing. I am 57 and can't seem to get enough of them. Mel C, Posh, Mel B, Geri and Baby. My order of preference today, and tomorrow is a new day. Girl Power!

I've watched this whole concert and I love to imagine the camaraderie they felt on-stage. 5 moving pieces in complete sync; song after song. Individually and collectively, they "killed" it.

@Blue ... utterly different things... no other female band ever will do what they did. Spice Girls were something new, incredibly revolutionary back then... difficult to explain by mere words, the phenomenon itself was unprecedented (even their detractors had to admit only 'Beatlesmania' was comparing to 'Spicemania').
Who does care if they weren't the best singers... maybe the girls themselves not even wanted to be, necessarily - but it was the whole 'package', the whole thing that brought together so many impressive aspects about this band. The perfect mix of each one is what made them so much iconic and legendary...
If not counting the first two years before becoming famous (May 1994 to about April-May 1996), the incredible, often crazy amount of work - not only the strictly music-related things - of many different kinds they accomplished from that point onwards but compressed in just 31- 32 months, would have taken four-five years for any other group.
All what the girls earned in those days, they more than fully deserved it.
@Blue Little Mix's strength were their pristine vocals. Spice Girls didn't have that, but their charisma, stage presence were their selling point. They didn't even need back up dancers for this concert, and they were singing 100% live while dancing.

Love all the girls but Mel B’s style with the capes & hair buns was amazing! Haha. I love how the double buns are making a comeback in 2019. I hope to see the Spice Girls perform live one day.. They just don’t come to the US often. 😢 The last time in 2008 they were just too far away from Texas. Some day! 💙
