After this match i feel the map should've been renamed to Burnt Wasteland.
Can you imagine being one of those infantry at 42:50. They manage to make a last push and seemingly are doing well only to suddenly see the distortion from an orbital laser start to form around them after whhich they all get vaporized.

this game is what me and my friends call a Gentlemans accord. the accord being that its a war game, no meta this that or the other, you entrench, you fight, you die. just how rts should be :P

It's not that tanks are any better in this mod. Actually, the core issue with tanks in OG Gen still persists, that is, tanks are just too bad against infantry, and infantries are just too good against tanks. I think the real reason tanks feel better in Gen Evo is that the meta has shifted. In OG Gen we usually have very small armies to fight with, and the battlefield usually features large plains with few chokepoints to defend with. Fast moving glass cannon units thrive in such environment as they can easily slip past defense lines to cause chaos everywhere, while slow moving powerhouse units stuggle as they can't respond in time. In Gen Evo though, we get to have much larger army sizes, which shifts the balance a lot. Light units have much less room to manuveur around with more enemy defenders, while heavy units work way better when they can have each other covered. This is the same reason why US Air is one of the most OP in OG Gen, but kinda struggles in Gen Evo, as he relies solely on fast glass cannons to do the job.
another reason is that in gen evo the controls over your air units is abyssmal. the guard area feature when paired with aircrafts that can shoot other aircraft was very strong in the original. i have never seen an aircraft shoot another aircraft automatically in gen evo...

I was just thinking this would be a regular game of gen evo where we only seeing some minor explosion and some back and fort attacks, but then at 3 mins there's a nuke already established, I'm thinking this would be a spicy explosive game.
the sound and particle effects of the Particle Cannon superweapon are still my favorite of all things epic in Gen Evo. Everytime I hear that baby rev up and fire... oh boy.. happy times
this was madness the amount of shit hapening was so overwhelming but still a great game and thank you for the Vid.

where to buy / download this ..! i used to play General and Zero-hours long long time ago .. ! i am amazed people still playing and enjoying it with so many improvements ! i tried install Zero-hour on my Windows 11 .. but it wont work !

As much i "hate" win98 for his incredibly spammy behavior in other matches, in this one he deserves the credit for being stubborn cockroach who refuse to die and puts a lot of preassure on his enemies. wp

I don't understand why player just won't set the unit stance to aggressive so they will auto attack rather than sitting there in enemy base when not controlled.

man those mini-gunners are OP and have sore backs carrying this game. I hope US gets pathfinders though. they really need a good anti-infantry unit and humvees and rangers just won't cut it vs. a horde of mini-gunners.
1. against troop crawlers and mass minnigunners the Microwave tank is actually good 2. all gats are op because they have instant spinup its not just the Minnigunners normal gats are much more annoying imo still this is all known and will get fixed eventually :D
@@spamaltf4 yeah I get ya. It only took 4 of them to take down a gattling tank and only a few shots to down a king raptor.
@@pigzard01 One gatling tank equals 2 Minigunners in price (comparing Tank Gen. vs Inf Gen). Both units take 10secs to produce. So in 1:1 comparison, 5 Gats vs 10 Minigunners, the Gats will always win.
But as Spam said, Gatling weapons are OP in the current state of the game.

particle cannons in this mod need some serious buff, they have short distance and do no damage compared to the ones in the original game

Btw How can I accuire Red Alert 3. EA App don't show the game even in the origin and official websites shows the game with ea play.
Also steam version seems only work at 30 FPS. I tried.
All versions only run at 30. Steam version is fine.

I downloaded the mod for RA3 and the game gets really laggy after a few minutes to the point where my entire PC crasses. Anyone knows what could cause this? (nope my PC ain't a potato)

Depending on where you are the video may not be processed on the hub you're connected to. RUclips has many servers and processing priority can get weird sometimes.

Balance issues will be patched. The dev is aware and he's working on it. I think there was a mention the new version should be out durring winter this year.
