Thanks to everyone for enjoying the match! It was a very fluid frontline but very hard to consolidate. After finishing the match I asked Khay what the nukes did, and to my horrible realization they almost did nothing to stop him. Going for eco at that stage of the game doesnt really do much because of the amount of money stored and the internet centers being able to survive a nuke.

@@Leonhart_93 he’s playing the tank general, but I agree with aircraft being busted in general. I think limited airports should be a thing, and Airforce general should be the only one who can build 2 airports.
Actually we were all playing randoms in this game and he rolled into tank(which he seems to love and main). If we got to chose factions, everyone would be picking tank gen xD it's definitely majorly busted in this patch unfortunately
@@Turtlebear Ahh, the classic Generals forced random. I remember that everyone would get mad if you were actually selecting your general, lol. I think I know why, the balance sucked.

From what I heard, non of the GLA generals are good, only the demolition one is somewhat competitive while the Chinese have some good generals and almost every US generals are good to play with. Forcing random won't cut it because then a team might be doomed from getting a bad roll.
I think this is the best 3v3 I've seen, so much stuff going on, explosions, units getting destroyed left and right. Entertaining match. Congratulations to team north for turtling well.
This was awesome! The south team had a massive advantage at the beginning, but the north overcame all the odds, and Crysis came back from the ashes to MVP.
I remember getting into C&C Generals so late but absolutely loving it. Just found this today and I adore everything. It's really neat to see the visual and FX of Red Alert being used with the Generals units but I love it. Definitely going to be trying it out as this looks fun af!

I just learned that Generals Evolution is a thing right now. The aesthetics (firestorms, explosions, etc) are boner-inducing! Wish the colors on the units and the minimap were a bit more bright to make it easier to tell them apart, but this looks freakin awesome!!! Subscribing for more!!!! Great match too!!!

This mod looks absolutely fantastic but I'm gonna be honest, as someone who played a lot of RA3 and also the original Generals, I have no idea what's going on on the map, the amount of explosions and rockets and fire is just melting my brain and after a while I cant even listen to the commentary anymore

Yeah I don't see avengers like at all in gen evo, are they like bad in this mod or something? They're probably expensive af and take a while to build so you'll fall behind in tank numbers, but I'd expect to see at least a few. Rockvees from the laser usa general just seemed like a bad move
the icons in the nameplate legend are completely mixed up, which is super confusing. Vanilla USA and Demo GLA are sharing an Icon, same for China Tank General and USA Laser....
Why did Pwning not build any Avengers? They can zap all those nuke mig missles out of the sky if not shoot them down outright, not to mention that Laser Gen has a discount for these.

Why miss it? There's still hundreds of players online every day and tournaments and competitions every month. It's a bit jenky and crashy, but with GenTool most of those problems are fixed.

You are correct in that sense, but it's a six player map and DEFCON has a military/global war connotation. So I guess DEFCON Six really should be a map where no one can build attacking units.
There's a game called DEFCON, it's a really quite slow paced game that ends always in nuclear strikes and DEFCON timer is set by the game not by players

@@FirestormX9 C&C online is the only supported method for Gen Evo. Lan and emulators can work, but very unreliably.

I think those strengths are too much currently, those nuclear migs are definitely busted.

That is true CnC heh in a real cnc match our brains shut down easily because we are the commanders that make decisions for life and death
In the big team games it can be a big problem, in 1v1s it tends to be much less of an issue.

@@aze559 Imo, most of the time people don't go for avengers because they cost a ton of money and move very slowly, so they lag behind the army hard.
