Generals is a game I have played every year since 2003. (except for this year so far). USAF is my favorite faction, but how you executed the first mission simply baffled me. I had never considered spamming comanches and using the damaged anthrax bunkers to get rid of the stinger troops in those sites. Very impressive.
You never captured the derrick near your starting point in the boss challenge match! At least you got countermeasures! Great video, as always. I could watch you play these challenges over and over.

@@irish147 LOL! China Infantry, GLA Stealth and GLA Demolitions are the most fun generals to play with in Challenge Mode in my opinion. But I can't deny that it is fun to play with General Kwai too because of the Emperor Overlord Tank one of my most favorite unit in the game. But still the China Nuke General (the most balanced General), GLA Demollition General (Can one shot the enemy super weapon with his only 1 HE Scud Storm, his only downside is no stealth units except from Jarmen Kell) , USA Air Force General (You can destroy enemy Super Weapons even without building your own Super Weapons because of Generals Power i.e. Carpet Bombing, Fuel Air Bomb or MOAB, A-10 Strike Level 3, or the more potent Spectre Gunship Level 3 together with massive air power) alongside with USA Laser and USA Super Weapons Generals are my most favorites because of them being easier to eliminate the threats early in the game.
Kudos for you for defeating last General. I gotta say, Airforce against Super General is really hard. I even tried with unlimited money, power and stars and it's been really tough xD
for the match vs SW General-are you playing as air or SW general?! "I'll see your puny 3 particle beams and raise you 20 of them!" vs tank -"How many f****** infantry does he have!? And how many tomahawks? LAUNCH THE NUKE!" That initial confrontation between your infantry hordes and tomahawks vs the tank general's army was pretty epic and intense. Later though after the tomahawks ran out of tanks to blow up and started concentrating fire on individual infantry...that was hilarious overkill. Like 20-30 missiles for a single red guard. Seeing the ECMs spreading all the tomahawk missiles out so the entire enemy army got hit was also amusing. It was really cool seeing you do a direct assault for this speedrun instead of the safer but slower bunker up and barraging him with general powers and SW to break up his army instead of fighting it head on. It must have been weird to use unloaded Humvees though instead of loaded Humvees and ambulances vs stealth-wow that was a close call, those rocket buggies that showed up when you weren't paying attention really wrecked your base vs laser-the standard combat chinook tactic to wreck everything, though slightly different in that you didn't first destroy the outer defenses this time, you just had a bunch of spare/decoy chinooks take the brunt of the fire so the loaded chinooks could sneak through and wreck shop. vs leang-1:58:10 is when ride of the valkyries should start playing since you launch your air assault with all those combat chinooks. The video finishes less than 3 minutes later, which is all that needs to be said of how quickly you absolutely annihilated Leang's forces. I love that "Suicide is not a tactic" line immediately before she surrendered. I guess she realizes she was screwed

You know I returned to this game to try and repeat my childhood experience of doing all of the general's challenges on hard and I was absolutely stumped at the Air Force versus super weapons general. Why didn't I think of just immediately selling my primary building and aggressively building my base towards the artillery platform? I swear that level is so broken
@@cncHD I've done plenty. I hold all the hard mode full level (not all the ILs though) records on speedrun.com, but I'm still improving on the timings every day so there's plenty of room for improvement. Would be great to see you have a go at it :)
Bro if you're active can you tell me how the nuke/superweapon AI predictions work? Do they usually strike the last built structure or currently building structure? Does it work every time or only in hard ai or challenge mode?
Certain buildings (i forget what) takes priority, then she choose the one closest to her, then she prefers scaffolding. Thats why the superweapon general particle cannon only hit the scaffolding in the right side of the map.
She usually only targets the power plant or barracks or supply center. She will target the one which is most closely to her. Also scaffolds hence why I gave her scaffolds to shoot on
I have yet to figure out what to do with this channel xD maybe I use it for my video with no commentary and my main channel will have only videos with commentary
I need to think about that. Im not good in that mod. I have a couple of contra challenge videos on the other channel but I stopped due to how frustrating it is to get constantly hammered by the AI
1:12:00 Not the most efficient tactic. The air assault was bold and had a good effect, good effort there and can see what you wanted to achieve. But, the base was left with inadequate organic support which compromised the assault. I leave my base with a much a more capable ground and air based defence than you had, including a medical Humvee for CBRN decon, then embarked on a combined ground and air assault in phases. I'd have also deployed snipers in the air assault and base defence. 3 snipers for base, including one in the rear for the stealth raids and two blocking the ground infantry routes in. I'd recommend capturing the static artillery at the front of the base location, it's clunky but attracts enemy attention which buys time to gather the ground defence if you need more concentrated forces.
Why is your background in the main menu is different from mine? Your background is just a picture of the main menu background in the original C&Q Generals. BTW good job at playing these I do these hard challenge too in Airforce but I'm stucked in the final stage so I tried different general, the demolition one and finally won.

I've started trying the generals challenge on hard without loading any save files other than mission start, as an added difficulty. I've recently completed the tank general for the first time this way. Hopefully eventually being able to defeat every general on the first try (as is the case for most generals already :D) I was wondering if you have a top 3 of the hardest generals to choose for the generals challenge? (forgetting the fact that infantry and demo generals have 8 challenges)
This challenge is what annoys me the most, im just starting to build my base then those damn helicopters and a10 warthogs blasts off my defenses and buildings into oblivion

They will strike where you put your troops together with structures

Probably was planned but was cut out during development. Maybe one of the mods has a makeshift version.

Towers are not used a lot by pro players. Comanches are far better at base defense. And when you play defensively, you already lost the game.
