Turba tom was so chill and so cool, not to mention skilled. I never followed him closely, but I’ve seen his build many times. Really hurt when I saw it was who I thought it was, can’t believe this.

@@shush103 yes. Turba tom was racing is Cummins drag truck and the parachutes didn’t deploy. He went into the trees at the end of the track and did not make it. Rest In Peace

When I first started driving Orwell I had the exact same problem. It does take time to get used to being so far to the left side.

it’s been years since i drove one, but the close shift pattern and the angle you shift at takes a little bit to get used to, going from a conventional to a cabover.
they were just not comfortable but i had fun driving them.
I just seen that video of his truck crashing my condolences and my prayers go out to his family
I live in Nashville but I was heading to Crossville Friday evening and I ran into a truck accident then going into Monterey Tennessee from the rain was delayed there almost 30 mins. but as I was coming up to Crossville Jamestown area I saw that race track on the side of interstate I saw a whole bunch of emergency vehicles then I didn't know what happened I figured somebody got hurt on the track little did I know that somebody lost their life that day my prayers go out to the family

Bruce you should keep it simple with blue collar and just do an in frame rebuild on the motor. And that would also take care of the leaking oil. Then just clean it up.
Carolers use a dd.my friend it only takes one low bridge or wrongly stamped sign.

That cabin freaks me out because of how enveloping the driving position is. Although out of habit I have always admired those that have the engine in front (I don't know what name you give them)...

If you can drive a 13 or 18 speed you can drive a Super 10. Last two gears are automatic.

I started driving in 81 with an International trans star 2 short frame talk about shake your teeth driving .then moved into a freight shaker with 13 speed v6 92 motor 13 speed long frame .the boss gave me a second truck to drive ,A sweet white freightliner with a 350 big cam series 1 Cummins .It had a 20 foot deck on the back with a 45 foot stinger trailer .I was married to both no one else drove them .I hauled boats with them for 7 years .The first thing to remember first thing in the morning if you mess up your the second one too the accident right behind that bug on the glass.

Hey Bruce you should put some leveling bags on the front suspension. Like that you can lower the front without letting the air out of the tires and runniing the risk of causeing damage to the rubber
