    Hey guys, moving forward I am introducing a new language to the channel. Unless a player is a rookie, I will be adding what year they were in when they played the respective game. This will help us keep organized moving forward. For example Steph is in his 15th year. Therefore. You will see this written as Steph¹⁵.
    I hope you understand. Thanks.

      Since I didn't play growing up, I haven't been able to really grasp what is going on in the plays. Hockey, football, baseball are all easy for me. This channel breaks it down in a way that makes it much easier to understand. The speed and complexity of the decisionmaking is really hard to see for the untrained eye at full speed.

    Great show. Awesome reads and analysis of the game. I know this was not the angle you were looking at, but I think more ppl should acknowledge KCP for his overall work on Steph, who went 6-17 and keep an eye out for MPJ leveling up this year now that he’s had an offseason where he can work on improving himself instead of just recovering. He is physically stronger this year and looks like he added 10 pounds of muscle. Denver is 2 games ahead of their pace from last year and a big part is KCP and his shutdown perimeter defense that did a great job of Steph, a great job on SGA, and forced Luka into 8 turnovers despite him having good scoring numbers.

      @@amai-w8f People dont realise basketball is trending bck to a big men game. You got Jokic, Giannis and Embiid, the past 5 MVPs all big men and the next gen is Victor, Chet and Cooper Flagg. Its a big men league.

    • @Nino-cv4dw
      @Nino-cv4dw 10 месяцев назад

      @@amai-w8f Yeah, kids nowadays watch Steph and learn how to shoot 3s and handle etc. from young. Then some of them turn into big men Centers with all that skills in them. Thats how you get unicorns like Victor, Chet and Cooper Flagg soon. They learn all these skills from young and apply once they turn 7 foot. On the other hand, short point guards also have the skills but they'll never have the height. You can teach skills but you cant teach height. 7 foot Jokic can learn to shoot and dribble, but 6 foot Curry can never be 7 foot. Thats why basketball is a big man game and has been for a long time.

    I used to nod my head when everyone said that Jokic isn't athletic. I have come to realize that he actually is very athletic but he uses it in smart ways. He keeps the game at HIS speed, not other players' speed. He doesn't jump high but he is a) limiting his risk of injury and b) doesn't have to jump because he boxes off and positions himself so well.

    • @GOATiology
      @GOATiology  10 месяцев назад

    Probably because we are in early season, but the joker was really tired in the late game, not sharp as usual, it's strange that a 50% game for him is a bad game

    jokic walks all the time and it doesn’t get called

    • @tropickman

      Everyone walks in the NBA. Jokic does too, but very rarely.
      He mainly does it when he is standing still at top of the key, facing the defender, when his left leg is the pivot, but he ends up pushing off the right leg. Then again, this is easily the most common travelling infraction in NBA that is never called.
      Jokic has exceptional footwork, balance & speed. Many times I caught myself thinking "he travelled", but when I review it & watch it over & over again, I realize asthat he didn't travel.
      Please post the time where you think he travelled.

    1:01 I hate that people say that. It’s one maybe the most affective move in the NBA, or it at least was😢

      The evolution of moves in the NBA can be bittersweet, especially when a highly effective move like that seems to lose its prominence.

    The nuggets starters were postive and their bench was negative and the total opposite for the warriors kind of interesting i think murray makes the nuggets bench better though instead of starting a bench player reggie off the bench is way better

    • @GOATiology

      The Nuggets' lineup strategy, with Murray enhancing the bench, indeed makes for an interesting and effective approach.

    The Nuggets starters actually handled GSW pretty well, but their bench got put into a blender.
