- [Part 1 of 2] Second meeting of the Multipolar Peace Alliance, this time discussing the weakness of the West, why this is actually bad news for global stability, and how to interpret the latest moves by NATO and the other partners. NATO‘s pivot to Asia Pacific will be a large problem as the neocons are now searching to unsettle age old conflict prevention mechanisms in Southeast Asia.
The Basics:
A) Multipolarity is not only an emerging reality, it is also a preferable foundation for global order.
B) Neutrality is an important tool within the overall mix of how nations view themselves and position themselves in the context of integrated and indivisible security.
C) NATO is a dangerous organisation and its expansion globally is undesirable and contrary to achieving a sustainable peace.

NATO is not about an economic problem, NATO is an IDEOLOGICAL problem.

Some in the West believe they will continue dominating the world because God is on their side. Their historical success is preordained and inevitable, and their superior culture gave them a moral imperative to intervene in global affairs.
Western civilization defeats itself by its need for endless wars and conflicts.
Asian civilizations (sans Japan) prioritized stability and peace due to their long-standing dynastic traditions, cultural philosophies like Confucianism emphasizing social harmony, centralized bureaucracies, and geographical features that encouraged internal development over external conquest. Their relative economic self-sufficiency and focus on internal trade further supported this stability. In contrast, Western civilizations emphasized expansion and domination driven by geopolitical competition among fragmented states, economic motivations such as the search for new trade routes and resources, religious and ideological factors including the spread of Christianity, and technological advancements in navigation and military capabilities. The rise of nationalism and the Industrial Revolution further fueled Western expansionist ambitions.
Each day, in every possible way, China contributes to building a better world.
The US is continuing with its strategy to keep Asia poor and divided. This policy was articulated in the top-secret U.S. Foreign Policy written 76 years ago.
February 24, 1948, Declassified U.S. Foreign Policy:
Furthermore, we have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. ... that Japan and the Philippines will be found to be the corner-stones of such a Pacific security system and that if we can contrive to retain effective control over these areas there can be no serious threat to our security from the East within our time.
Taiwan was added to the Pacific security system after Chiang's army retreated to the island of Taiwan in 1949. South Korea was added after the Korean War in 1953. The attempt with Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was abandoned in 1975. The 1989 attempt in China failed. The 2019-2020 attempt in Hong Kong also failed.
Anywhere in the world, if there is a border dispute, it is usually the result of a line drawn by an Englishman; if it is an internal dispute, it is usually the US fueling it. Difference in implementation of divide and conquer strategy.
The 'Arsenal of Democracy' produces 40 percent of the world's weapons. It is a very profitable business model in which other countries buy these weapons to fight each other. The key is maximizing profits without shedding US blood by inducing conflicts between and within countries outside the USA. One client is eager to spend AUD 368 billion to buy a few high-quality used nuclear-powered submarines. This business model's critical components are NATO, QUAD, ANZUS, Five Eyes, AUKUS, and MCC (Mutual Cross-Service Agreement).
Since WWII, the United States has started 201 wars, overthrew 36 foreign leaders, killed or attempted to kill 50, dropped bombs in 30 countries, and interfered in 86 foreign elections. To make the world safe for democracy, the US has caused the deaths of tens of millions of people in its conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. The CIA was involved in covert operations that resulted in mass killings of communists in over 22 countries, 500,000 to 2,000,000 Indonesian civilians disappeared in 1965-1966.

Nato in Asia is like the start of the recolonisation of Asia. Nato consists of all the former imperial states that had colonies in Asia before. Japan is very keen to be a member of course. It too was a very cruel coloniser and I am very surprise that Philippines would have a military treaty with Japan. Perhaps Philippines is a very forgiving country. It must have forgotten the Bataan Death March.

Great discussion with some highly informed and educated people on the topics. A couple suggestions…it would have been good to have one to two people from the Global South..South America and Africa. Also, Pascal, have you ever had journalist Vladimir Pozner on your channel? I don’t think I have seen him. He would be a very interesting person to speak to related to the relationships between Russia and the U.S. and the emerging multipolar world.

1. Their oown Citizens' needs.
2. NATO's dark history.
3. Reality of situations on the ground.
4. All other Sovereign nations too have as much Rights, freedom to choose, human rights, growth and most importantly the rights to survive. As is the case for Palestinians.
NATO 75th blindly seeks to boost morals within a secluded Oligarchical community. It must realize that others too are growing and seek improvements too. Others have been oppressed for much too long. Blaming others is no longer an acceptable narrative.
Wake up EU. Within a Multipolar alliance EU gets the Energy, Materials, cooperatively cheaper goods and sustainabilty for your Citizens. Is NATO offering at least these???????

Ok, let me refute the basic assumptions here:

A. Wars are MORE likely under a multipolarity world. Wars happen because there isn't a balance of power, various nations believe they can profit from wars. Look at the wars that are happening now, Sudan, Palestine, Ukraine, Myanmar, Congo, these are all places where the US or NATO do NOT have great strength.
B. Neutrality is fine when a nation's interests are not compromised by other nations. Sadly a lot of nations are right now subject to the actions of other nations (e.g. the Nile's water flow & conflict between Egypt vs Ethiopia) It's great to be Sweden when you can pull it off, but note that even Sweden has joined NATO of its own choice.
C. The history of Europe is a history of war. Prior to the establishment of NATO, larger nations in Europe were involved in wars the majority of the time. It wasn't called the 30 Years War because it was over in a week. Nations were constantly fighting prior to NATO, and after establishment there has been little conflict in western & central Europe. NATOs existence has directly aligned with a reduction in conflict in Europe, which is not a coincidence (there are other factors like the USA vs Russia alignment, but I believe that NATOs existence is the largest factor in the equation).
This channel is anti-West in its thinking and positioning (imo). If you are in Europe and want peace and prosperity, I would double-check everything this channel says with some other source.
