The fun and games of fixing things.
I enjoy watching you guys doing the maintenance. Actually, I enjoy all of the videos on this channel. Thanks for sharing guys 👍
It's amazing what welding will do to some steel. a good outcome in the end guys.
Yes, severe hardening around a weld.
Thanks for sharing your time. you are a great family
Howdy Jacksons its.awesome watching your day buy strugles some you win some you dont. We all strugle i know i do every day one way or another.
My little engineering and test station we strugle 40% of the time but when we win its a fantastic feeling. Grpeat watching reay ènjoy it. Thanks Boys
Hi Matt and Brad, you can actually drill over an existing hole with these type of drills as long as the centre is at least a few mill ouside the existing hole. Because the drill bit is now in material for more then 180 degrees it will not push itself to one side.
When your center is inside the existing hole: take piece of steel large enough for your magnetic drill to stand on, drill a hole the size you need and tackweld the plate in place , with the hole located where you need to drill. Now your temporary plate will guide the drill so you can cut a hole.
Thanks for your video's and all the best from Holland
💪🏆🤗🙏
Thank you for sharing this
Hello Jackson brothers, another day in the office and struggles you going through on a daily basis. Great video and keep up the great work. Thanks Stephen
Loved the brackets for the lights very sturdy
I feel your frustration. That said, you are a talented bunch, and I'm sure you'll get it sorted
Good content Matt. Shit happens. gotta love it.. cheers.
Always enjoyable....👍
Great videos lads 🇮🇪
G'day great video mates
This was mind-blowing!😮
Safety Sam here... 1. Your front end loader outside the shed didn't have the bucket or the 3pl slasher on the ground. If not using it all attachments should be grounded.
2. When using your Mag drill you reached across the exposed rotating shaft. It could have grabbed your shirt and caused an injury.
3. No cover over the slip clutch and chain on the Mother Bin.
Dont want any injuries to stop the flow of good videos. Plus you have kids around. They may not understand the dangers.
You can get the broach cutters sharpened once they go blunt.
Have a BEX and a good lie down.
If you drilled a pilot hole first to remove some of the metal, your finishing drill would have gone through. I've been a Fitter and Turner/ toolmaker for many years.
I have found that the welded metal can sometimes get hard spots in it and blunt the broach cutter, even snap them.
Couple tack welds on the bolts would keep those bolts in place on those lights
I find if you can't drill with mag drill, heat up cherry red and let cool and mag drill will go through easy
hey up love the look of your 555, PTO guard for mother bin looks same as one i bought few years back in uk apparently ozzy company
❤ from Norway
I believe your work hardened the metal while welding it. You might wanna try annealing it with the torch next time. Sorry about the paint, but the bits are way more expensive and important than paint. Then when you get done. Reheat the metal and cool with oil to retarded. Hopefully, the thief had nothing but troubles with the lights, and karma got him in the end 😂😂. Great job making repairs, and hopefully, the mother ben with sort itself out easily.
When the going gets tough , get the Gas Axe. 😉🇦🇺
Hate to say but when you welded the plug in the heat probably hardened the steel so you probably should of used a brooch for hardened steel
Brad, time stamp 10:59 very unprofessional drilling holes into your parallel. 😉👍🏴
When I need good hole afta I burn hole wack a drift through it makes hole smoother
Struggle bus is real
Holesaw??
Yeah. I cut 75mm holes with mine thru 40mm plate all the time. Just use Sutton holesaw's. The best.
Just break out the oxy and cut a hole.
I remember when the 555 v first come out. We had 835 a very good tractor.
you hardened it when to welded it
As my Dad always said about farming: some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you. 😊
Lunch at home.... you do know that's part of the cause of children. 😅
Matt you and your brothers are never defeated you’ve just not found the solution to the problem so far
It's so depressing that lesser beings seem to think they have more "right" of ownership to our stuff than we do...
Shameless. Utterly. Morally bankrupt.
I think you need to purchase a longer boom for Brad as the bit of the video at the press was a little low, either that or have the director editor have a word about production values 😂 great to see you all again guys 🏴👍🏻
It’s hard to teach, particularly when I can’t point the camera the right way😂
An eventful episode a lot going on and noting going rite 😅
