Nissan believes that advanced technology should be available to all customers. The 1.2-litre DIG-T is an Alliance-developed engine tuned specifically by Nissan for the new Qashqai.
Driving through a six-speed manual transmission, this advanced turbocharged engine delivers 115PS (85kW) and generates 190Nm of torque. Despite its modest size, the 1.2-litre engine packs a real punch, offering sharper acceleration and greater flexibility than the outgoing 1.6-litre naturally aspirated engine.
Its lower weight and more fuel-efficient operation also means that the entry-level petrol Qashqai is considerably cleaner and more economical than the model it replaces. The 1.2 DIG-T engine emits 129g/km of CO2 (15g/km less than the outgoing 1.6-litre petrol unit), and has a fuel consumption figure of 5.6 l/100km (0.6 l/100 improvement over the outgoing 1.6-litre).
Like all engines in the new Qashqai range, the 1.2 DIG-T is equipped with Start/Stop ignition as standard, and benefits from a raft of fuel-saving technologies, including a regenerative alternator, optimised gear ratios and special low-viscosity oils.

Hello, I noticed the average consumption at some point in the video was 11.4. Was that with the 4 adults in the car on the highway, or was that with city driving also?

Its hard to tell from this video but what is is like holding from 60mph to 80mph as I will be using the car for work and will be driving on A roads 50 to 60mph. Then when using for motorway approx once month. So although it can get up to speed does it feel like the engine is straining at 70-90mph? Please answer.

Why is that? In the Skandinaviens countries can't get Nissan Qashqai 4x4 " with Xtronic Gearbox, neither with " Petrol " or with " Dissel " Engine ?

Qashqai 1.2 DIG-T, from 0 to 62 mph - 11,3 sec. For rear space you have to watch Qashqai 1.6dCi test in my channel, there is the picture, when I(I'm 6'4" tall) sitting behind my driving position.

Driving Nissan Gashgai in the the highway at only 60 ml (90 Km), I can not hear the person next to me in the front passenger seat. engine, road, wind and tire noise was so loud at vi could not finish our test trip as planned, that we also test at 70 ml (110 Km) It was just so awful, So we strongly believe, that Nissan for to achieve the minimum fuel consumption, sacrificed car's important features '' Comfort '' We were sure at the end of our test drive, that Nissan has certainly not used any or much much less that needed insulation in the 2014 Nissan Gashgai.
Looks like a nissan dualis to me.
Qashqai is the name for this car in all of Europe. In Australia/Japan it's called Dualis. I don't know if the 2014 version of this car will be named Dualis in your territory.
