right on. I purchased a used 2018 model 3 long range rwd 19 months ago with 48k and it just rolled 145k. 90% of all my charging has been at home. I live in Tx have traveled to Colorado twice, North Carolina twice and have been to the gulf coast several times. I personally am on my 2nd set of tires. The only thing I have replaced was a 12volt battery at 88k miles and it cost me $100! And Tesla sent their mobile service van to my house 1 hour away from the service center ! This Tesla model 3 has been the best car I have an ever owned! The batteries still charges up to 295-305 in summer and 285-290 in winter.
These cars are able to keep themselves cooler by having infrared resistant glass. Fisker did the cool thing and put solar panel roofs on top of the Fisker Ocean. In those desert states in and around California, it would be amazing for the car to be able to charge it itself while it’s just sitting in the sunlight. That would be a major selling point.
