He is such an incredibly talented actor. I absolutely love him. I watched him pretty”out of it” running around Los Felize one night. It was very concerning. He seemed so lost and yet still so very kind to everyone he interacted with. None of us in the restaurant he kept coming into knew what to do to help him. I am truly grateful he was able to address the disease. what a blessing to us all. May he have many more years of health, happiness and prosperity.
Two of my favorite people. Eric and Eliza are dear friends and are sincere, honest people. I know Keaton really well and he's a smart, funny guy whose talent is endless.
Hi Anthony, I just read your comment and I also just watched this video. Eric seems very comfortable with himself. I am really surprised that they asked such point blank questions but I am sure everyone is very curious and interested in the details of his life as I am. Eric's wife is amazing standing by his side through his transitions. Please tell Eric that we all love him and that he is an incredible person and actor and we all admire his wife.
They say People don't change but there are rare occasions when love, real authentic love can change you for the better. I wish them a lifetime of happiness. ❤❤
I usually don't like actors as a group.I like artists and writers .But Eric Roberts is a unique guy and a man of great humanity.I guess his experiences have helped to forge his character.God bless him and God help us all ,as life can be hard.
All these tv networks ever do is talk about his bloody addictions...there's so much more to him than that...wish they'd focus on something else for a change..
If you watch the interview, I think you'll see there's a whole lot more to it than just the part about his addiction... This is an interview with his wife and it was a major part of his life, but certainly not the only thing. The addiction is only a portion of the interview. :)
I didn’t like marijuana at in my teens, I didn’t like cocaine in my 20s either. But, there are many other ways to become an addict. I appreciate these videos.
You are 100% right on that.Eric was and is a fine man and gentleman.Hollywood is full of phoney , degenerate self absorbed a**holes.! God bless Eric Roberts and God help us all!
I was an extra in a TV series he was in. It was over ten years ago in Albuquerque. I remember between scenes, they would almost carry him out by the shoulders, as if he could not walk without help. I don’t know if he had a bad back or what, but that’s what I remember.
I’m learning that people that do drugs do not love themselves. Richard Pryor, John Belushi, Freddie Prinze, Chris Farley, Bobby Brown did not love themselves. They destroyed themselves. Some are able to come out of it and others don’t. Glad i don’t have an addictive personality.
Hola hello beautiful world God Almighty bless all ❤️yesss and any self lothing or Love themselves I come from a long line of drug and alcoholics thank God I've never done them but they did God Almighty bless all ❤️✨❤️
I’d invite you to watch the entire interview. His fight with drugs is only one of the many topics discussed. He and his wife Eliza Roberts are wonderful people and have some great stories to share.
2:29 He jumped off a mountainside (in a cocaine withdrawal induced depression, perhaps?). No need to hype it any higher. Not that I was there, but, all sources indicate the above. Doug had to be bi-polar given his prolific output followed by desertion at Nat Lamp. It's a hard life being that smart yet childlike.
Cocaine is a very romanticized drug! Parties, romantic interludes, sexual hyper drug to a certain extent then things go south quickly if you know what I mean!#❄️@tracymcgrath1192

Drugs take a toll on your looks another example would be John Taylor from Duran Duran.

Watch The Pope of Greenwich Village- So talented
Who’s the two people whose host the show ?
Mike Tucker and Dr. Sharmini Long. Roy Ice has since taken over as the main host and Mike and Sharmini still co-host.
What's going on with those insane choppers? 0:09
Those ad interruptions are cringy
I like him , had some hard times like other people in life, can wecmove on with these two idiots that r interviewing him, wow not great.
Ha ha...he is funny!
Addicts romanticize their drug or alcohol. It’s true love some say

He’s quite inebriated there…
Sorry Eric, that these interviewers don't know anything about you except what their AI fact sheet says.
Nice complexion
I like Eric Robert’s. I like his honesty. I don’t like the interviewers. Sorry
I started smoking pot at 11
❤❤❤
i like you roy.........
The pope of Greenwich village
Never heard of him🤭
we believe...
He still looks "whoozy" talking. So .. abd the drugs have affected him.
Why would Keenan be mad for years. Why was it wrong for Eric to tell him to be quiet at night? Selfish imo
I DONT think hes sober / clean in this interview
That female host is beautiful. Dark haired beauty.
