This is probably my favourite hymn. It's precious to me, considering I was born with a rare craniofacial deformity syndrome (and being a PhD research scientist studying such things) and having the faith in Christ sufficiently to appreciate how God made me in such a unique manner, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). If I ever visit BJU, I would love to speak to the students and faculty about my unique life and faith journey.
Thank you, BJU, for sharing this. I hope it is the indicator of a trend of more sharing of congregational singing... just plain SATB singing of great hymns out of the hymnbook. It is badly needed as more and more churches are abandoning those great hymns in favor of copyrighted mu$ic.

I am a BJU Graduate. I loved my time at BJ. I loved the services including the music. God was always honored at BJ.
Truly how great is our Magnificent Yahweh Jehovah Jireh.
A favorite arrangement of mine! We sang this in our choir at church, and so enjoyed doing so! Thankful for my BJU days in the '70s :)
Never attended there but all the grads I've known from there have be tops. There is something very special about this University.
Yup!!!
So beautiful!! It brings back wonderful memories of my attendance in the early '60's!
What a blessing to hear the BJU students sing this great hymn. One of my favorites.
Magnificent! Amen and Amen!
AMAZING I have found someone else who puts the bar line where it should be. Great congregational singing. This 1954 finisher is proud.
To God Be The Glory !!
Thank you!
O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
And when I think of God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
When Christ…
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art

I knew David, I was closer with his wife. Good people. This university used to produce amazing music.
Wait - why isn't anyone in the audience using a hymnal?
Because the words are projected on two screens above the stage...
I'll admit, that makes me sad.
And most probably know it by heart.
@@IUFTR . . . including parts.

Director is terrible! Instruments and voices, however, a glorious!
