    Just bought a 2009 ybr 125g turned cafe racer. It just can't climb as fast as I want but other than that I love it. Thank you for this video and more ybr vlogs please. ✌️❤️🇵🇭

    Piston and cylinder position is still fine even after 110k.
    Wonderful machine.

    Mine is a 2005 and I just rebuilt it to 150cc. Had to do certain changes to the main jeg and carb needle. Runs good! 30k on the clock. I have it as a hobby and have many tools for it. The engine is easy to deal with, cheap parts and uses little gasoline. I will try to make it last for many more years!

      Have fun with the rebuild, you have accomplished what I am planning on doing for the last couple of years now. Still haven’t found some affordable engine case as replacement. But I have not abandoned the project and will get it done eventually.

      @@E6add9 👍 Just remember, if you rebuild to 150cc, it will need a richer mixture. Good luck!😎😎

    Mine has 65k and im always concerned and kinda scared that engine is just gonna stop working one day even tho i change oil regularly. But this video gives me hope and proves that this little engine really is indestructable as they say.
    So simple, parts really cheap, very economical, the best bike for urban areas for sure!

    • @E6add9
      @E6add9  2 года назад

      Don't be scared, most likely you still have plenty of resource left in your engine! Please check out my current video. I require new engine halves because of worn out gearbox bearing seat. Discovered it after disassembling the engine, it ran fine otherwise..

    110k is pretty impressive. Any plans on restoring the bearing seats? Seems like the engine held up pretty well. Also, what was your oil change schedule? Did you clock all those km yourself? Was it ridden hard?

    • @E6add9
      @E6add9  3 года назад +5

      I am currently looking for used engine cases/halves. Too much hassle with restoring the seats. Once I find some, i'll put it back together, with some new bearings. The crakshaft bearings still seem ok, surprisingly. They'll go back into service. I bought the bike back in 2006, it was a demonstrator with only 70km on the clock, so brand new basically. Used it every day, all seasons for a couple of years. Oil change, every 5 thousand km using fully synthetic 10w40 oil. Stay tuned for more vids ;)

    I mean.. If it weren't for the destroyed threads on the engine outside it still looks decent, you could change the rings and might have engine for a while, DISCLAIMER : I don't know shit.

    • @E6add9
      @E6add9  3 года назад +1

      The threads are not that much of a problem. I have disassembled the engine completely some time ago, to find that the bearing seats are completely worn out. Especially the gearbox bearing seats. I will upload a short video about that in the near future.

    Ich habe vor bei meiner YBR125 demnächst dass Fahrschulkit samt Sportauspuff für mehr Leistung einzubauen, konnte beides sehr günstig kaufen. Ich habe bis jetzt bei zwei Autos den Zahnriemen gewechselt bin also nicht ganz ahnungslos bei Motoren und ich würde gerne das Kit selbst einbauen. Sehe ich dass richtig dass ich um die Nockenwelle zu tauschen lediglich den Deckel runter nehmen muss, die Kette und das Rad und dann diesen Spanner für die Nockenwelle (Die schwarze Leiste)? Ich würde danach dann natürlich den Ventilspiel nochmal neu auf die Optimalwerte einstellen und mehr müsste es nicht sein oder? Entschuldigung für diese blöde Frage, doch bis jetzt kommten mir nicht viele sonderlich präzise Aussagen zu genau diesem Motor geben^^

    • @E6add9
      @E6add9  2 года назад

      Die Nockenwelle lässt sich seitlich rausziehen, absolut kein Problem. Im Grunde so wie von Dir beschrieben. Pass nur auf beim Zusammenbau, es kann vorkommen, dass die Steuerkette nach dem Spannen neben dem Ritzel auf der Kurbelwelle liegt. Also ein paar mal vorsichtig mit der Nuss an der Kurbelwelle durchdrehen, um zu sehen ob alles passt. Schreib mal, wie viel das Kit wirklich bringt. War vor einiger Zeit noch selbst daran interessiert.

    • @GermanyBlackdragon
      @GermanyBlackdragon 2 года назад

      @@E6add9 Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Auf jeden Fall werde ich vorsichtig sein, beim Zahnriemenwechsel hatte ich auch immer zuerst von Hand gedreht, aber trotzdem danke nochmal für die Warnung. Um die Kette zu spannen kann ich ja dann vorsichtig das Nockenwellenrad samt Kette wieder drauf schieben oder geht dass so nicht?
      Ich werde bescheid geben sobald ich alles zusammen habe und eine Testfahrt machen konnte. Ich bin auch gespannt, momentan läuft die Maschine so um die 100 glatt. Aber auch nicht wirklich stabil 😅
