I made an egg in a hole with sausage gravy thanks to you sam it is not one of your recipes I think but got inspired to see and think outside the box if you have time try it did 3 slices and
poured all the sausage gravy all over it with some cheese on top it was awsome keep on being you and being inspiring
never thought to use the jiffy cornbread mix for waffle mix. awesome idea
I ordered some through Amazon; waiting for them to be delivered. I do have one but its 16" and heavy as a MOFO! So I don't cook with it too often. My new ones are 10" and 8", I think that's a much more reasonable size for my cooking needs. Keep up with your wonderful sense of humor! You're my new favorite RUclips person!

I think "American breakfast" is a very regional thing, depending on what part of America you're from, and your ethnicity. I'm inclined to think like you said, fried eggs, bacon and toast, might be the quintessential American breakfast, but like I said, I think it might vary from region to region. I'm from the New York City Metropolitan area, and I know what we usually ate for breakfast growing up was different than what others I know from the south ate for breakfast. Ethnic dietary laws/rules influenced what and how people ate too.

Sam, might I suggest when it comes to the syrup for pancakes and waffles, make some maple butter. Gently heat good maple syrup and melt the butter in it. This way every bite is evenly coated with butter AND syrup. Everything you made looks delicious. Best cooking channel ever!!
