I still remember the day we heard she died in the plane crash.A sad day for country music fans. She was in class by herself when it came to singing.Often imitated but never replaced.
I don't think anyone else can do it like Patsy did. There's no way. She sings so pretty. Imagine a world where she was still here. There would be much more pretty music in this world.
Unlike the people that claim that they are "artists",Patsy did not use auto tune...The singers that the establishment pushes now days mostly use auto tune to get it "right".
That's why I'm here, too. I watched commentary on the commercials it since I didn't watch it myself. The commercial was tricky, though. It stated that Jesus didn't want us to act like adults. I've never heard a more ridiculous statement and it was wrong. Jesus wanted us to have the faith of a child, but if he didn't want us acting like adults, he wouldn't have created us to grow into them and then give us the law.
@@HAL-dm1eh I guess I saw it differently. I think that it was intended to mean just put away your adult feelings from time to time and look at this beautiful world through eyes of innocence and look for only the good things. Only little innocent eyes view the world that way. Please keep in mind that little ones have no hate, it is taught to them.
@@buck546 What are "adult feelings"? What does that even mean? Where do you get kids don't hate? My niece right this moment is pitching a screaming fit because she can't have something she wants, and my sister is having to guide her and work with her to help her understand she can't have it and WHY she can't have it. Children are innocent yes, but they're also in need of adults to guide them as they grow. That's why you have to supervise a kid with a small animal. They could squeeze it to death unknowingly. Do you want people to lose their adult compassion as well? Because that's what it takes to not "act like an adult". This conversation is absolutely bonkers.
My grandma had 12 children, all at home. That woman loved children be they her own or those that wandered in. She left behind 376 decendents as of the day she died in '94. I miss you Grandma......married to Grandpa 76 yrs.
I have to agree although I've never thought about comparing anyone to her, she was certainly in her own leagues, as MC Hammer once said, "Can't touch dis!"
@Danny Hurley i know! Sweet Tooth just got released on Netflix I’m guessing you’ll see lots of comments now after the last one 7 years ago 😂 The musical sound track is pretty good lots of songs I’ve never heard before 👍🏽
This lovely lady was around long enough to add such beautiful music to our culture. Such a tragic way she lost her life . She lives forever through her 🎵🎵
One of my favorite songs by Patsy Cline. I play it often especially during these hard times. I just started watching "Sweet Tooth". I was genuinely surprised to hear this being played. Patsy Cline had an amazing voice.
I was watching the Atlanta Braves game and the commercial came on with this song playing in it. At the end of the commercial the two little kids run together and embrace. put a tear in my eye our blessed savior said except ye become as little children you will not enter the kingdom of God . Patsy Cline had such a beautiful voice may God bless each and everyone
Wow just finished watching Patsy Clines movie one of my favorites ❤️ and started watching Sweet Tooth and knew this was Patsy her voice is so distinct. Hope many will come to know her as well.
I just heard this song a few days ago. Looked it up and there was patsy! So...i printed off the lyrics, added cords and I will sing it at my next gig! So sweet..
Now you tell me. At my age of 69.. she is one of the foremost singers to influence my love to sing...My Mom left me her musical voice, as well. I have loved her melodic voice since I first heard it. What a talent she was!

Unique gem of a song by maybe the best female C&W singer of all time. This should played to school children, to politicians, gov'ts, militaries, churches, evil folks, etc etc.
My mom truly loved her singing . So do I She sure was truly an awesome singer. Mom always listened to our old Philco radio at Perry- Conway county line back in the. Early 1960s . I'm retired from first electric co-op. from Benton and perryville I was their mechanic .
A co-worker I once knew (RIP Ann P,) turned me onto Patsy's music. I never heard anyone sing like Patsy before. Thank you Ann for lending me your Patsy CD. I think of you and smile whenever I hear a Patsy Cline song. :)

This was a Super Bowl commercial last night. She is still inspirational some 60 years after her death. That is timeless.
