I love how on the shirts the school is “Anytown USA” It’s saying that this could really happen to anyone.
That’s such an important detail. I’m not the biggest fan of Abby but I will say that her attention to detail is amazing.

Mαndy De Hoyos It wasn’t ment to be exciting. It’s about school shootings. It’s supposed to expose people to what’s happening in our world, to children, teens, and teachers.

This dance was great but I wish they had done something else with Lily's costume.. It straight up looks like she forgot to wear pants!

Lily has improved SO much since season 7. She is very technical and her face is just spot on!

My studio did a dance like this it was called tragedy and triumph... we actually wore the uniform from the school who were affected by shootings. It was a powerful dance and we were all crying during our performance

You’re so right, gun control is so important, in America arguably anyone can buy a gun, anyone could be a school shooter. They say they need the guns for self defence, well if they didn’t have guns they wouldn’t need to defend themselves in some situations

My last day of school for the year was June 6th and everyone was saying all sarcastically and dramatic, “oh my god, we survived sophomore year!” Meanwhile I’m thinking, “we literally survived.”

That was me leaving high school. We had a scare, a gun drawn in 8th grade for me and every year since, we survived, we learned better ways to protect ourselves.
This dance just shows that Brady or any boy of any team doesn't have to always be the lead. the dance was amazing in my opinion.

Its about people having thoughts and praying that nothing bad happens but they don't really do anything to help all they do is thoughts and prayers thats where no more thoughts and prayers come it where they actually do something to help

Softball life Let’s go | I know, but still I really really liked this dance much better than the other 2 group dances. Actually, better than most of the other group dances from other Seasons
This was amazingly thought out-more than I even realized. Down to the shirt color, Abby and Giana made every detail important. The red, the color of the Republican Party and far right, shirt girls held the “thoughts and prayers” sign and the blue, the color of the Democratic Party and far left, shirt girls held the “no more thoughts and prayers sign.”
this was helpful since i dont really get american politics. What does thoughts and prayers mean? and what does lilliana represent?
@@Shanshan12988 usually when there's a school shooting everyone posts about their thoughts and prayers for the victims. the no more thoughts and prayers is said by people who want to take action (i.e. banning certain kinds of guns, increasing the gun purchasing process, etc.) instead
Angel Sparkles like it was said, people often tweet “thoughts and prayers” after mass shootings that seem to have become routine. Even the educated, distinguished man none other than Donald Trump himself (those adjectives were sarcastic if you could tell) often addresses the epidemic in America with “thoughts and prayers.” That phrase is used by the right because they don’t want the left to “take their guns.” “No more thoughts and prayers” was a phrase adopted by the left and used by those who believe something needs to actually be done. Solely from watching the episode, Lily represents someone who doesn’t know where she stands yet.
@@Shanshan12988 to add on to Kiera's statement, take for example the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting, which I'm kinda assuming Brady was closest to since he lives in Miami and this was in Parkland. At the beginning there were only thoughts and prayers, like every other shooting. The Douglas kids decided to take action, decided they wanted more than just thoughts and prayers, and it really showed. It was a very strong political piece that Abby did, and with the experience of this situation I have, she did a very good job presenting it.

Nope the dancer got way better and are in same level to do any difficult choreography while before only some could do some steps while other couldnt do it this time its rlly bout the dance
Cute Xoxo I think she also is getting more say in the dances, and the producers might have backed off a little.
Naahh Abby was always good at choreography, some were good and some weren't.
The point is that now ALL the dancers are good, all of them.
At the time she had sloppy dancers like Kendall and JoJo, Nia, yes I love Nia but I think we can all agree with the fact that maybe dance wasn't for her.
And these sloppy dancers were dancing with really good and beautiful dancers like Kalani, Brynn or Maddie, (I am talking about later seasons. That's why I am not including Chloe, Paige ect)
Hopefully Abby and these girls can still work together.
I feel like there is a lot less tricks. Like there isn't 16 counts of turns in one go

I can relate to this because a few years ago at my middle school there was a bomb threat. This year someone posted on Snapchat that we should not go to school and they had a picture of a gun. There was barely anyone at school and I didn’t feel safe at all. It was the scariest moments of my life and you never want to have to go through this.
I got emotional watching this wow they are amazing

This was just AMAZING, Lily was increible.
To me, thoughts and prayers are the first step to acknowledging a crisis. After that, we do have to try to do something. We all have a voice that survivors need. Standing by means you stand with the enemy.

The group performance was amazing 💫! Best group routine ever out of 8 seasons. I love 💕 how the dance 💃 and song 🎶 tells an amazing 💫 story! I am so happy 🥰 that it touched the judges and the audience heart ❤️ and coming in 1st place. This is the best season so far with the best cast.
