every solo starts with a perfect score and points are just taken off so her getting easy solos is beneficial to her. this is also because her technique is so good that she doesnt need the distractions of difficulty, risk of acro, extra she has that wow factor naturally
Also, I forgot to say, her solos off the show weren’t that difficult either. Kalani doesn’t need difficulty. She’s very clean and looks amazing onstage. Most of her solos weren’t that difficult at all. The dances on the show and off were about the same.
i would have to say Camryn’s solo “i’m already done” personally. i thought she was honestly one of the most underrated dancers on the show and you can truly see her talent on that dance. also the costuming and the song choice were just stunning as well

I don't agree with Abby's position that Kalani didn't need deep themed solos or great characterization in her costumes, I think Kalani was a beautiful and talented dancer but if you never take her out of her comfort zone she never grows, I think if Abby would have risked more on her solos like she did with Maddie, Kalani would have won more times
