Thank you, Rachel! It's nice to see the quality colors that appear to match those of the Polychromos @ an affordable price. I enjoy using the non-round barrel pencils as they don't roll off my belly then onto the floor. Pencils can be difficult to pick up with a grabber, especially if they fall @ the edge of my bed. My caregiver knows that she'll always find a few escapees when she assists me, lol!
You are very kind to post so many sheets to download thru your Ko-Fi shop. Hoping you and are enjoying this blessed Advent season.
    🙏🌎☮🐾👣🎄🎶🎨❣

Thank you, I am often losing pencils under my desk as they roll away, fortunately I can crawl under to retrieve them!

Those are from Faber Castell’s red series which is aimed at children. The blue series (Goldfaber) is for hobbyists, and the dark green series caters to artists. The red series is quite good compared to other brands, but certainly not comparable to the Polychromos in terms of pigmentation and lightfastness. I must say you’ve done a fabulous job at working with them.🤩

Thank you, you can feel they are not so expensive but I like hard pencils so they suited me!

@ Oh, that’s so interesting! Usually everyone raves about buttery pencils, but harder leads actually makes a lot of sense for detailed work. And if lightfastness is not a concern, these pencils are certainly a very good choice. It’s really lovely of Johanna Basford to promote accessible pencils for her wonderful lineart. And as I said earlier, I admire what you were able to achieve with this range. :)

@@UTleochi I started colouring with hard pencils (back in 2013) so it is what I am used to! I do use softer ones as well, but hard ones just feel more comfortable to me!! Thank you!

LOL! Same as you, when I saw Johanna coloring with these, I went on Amazon and purchased right away. I dont remember if I used them yet. I put in a case with the 36 Posca pencils. Going to get those sets out and use them to complete 2 Advent pages I am finishing

Rachel, do you find these pencils produce more crumbs than the Polys?
