Ive just bought my first prismas,the wood is cheap although they blend lovely for a wax .polychromos better quality,but oil.i agree with you whole heartedly.
Hi, I’m new at drawing with pencils. Do you think it's better if i buy a set of 12 from Polychromos and Prisma, or 1 set of 24 from one of the 2 bands? The thing is i don't know which brand to go for even after knowing their differences.
Both are great! Prisma colors as most artists agree on are great for portraits and things like that, while the polychromos are great for detailed work since it had that stiff hard lead and its oil based. Amazing video!

I would go for the set of 24 Polychromos and NOT get prismacolor
