When I was baptized in 2020 I was amazed to hear God wants to reason together with us. I didn't yet believe God loved me, or that Jesus loves me. I didn't believe Jesus came so I might be saved, I thought He came to condemn me. The story of the prodigal son seemed like a lie. Now I feel like I'm reliving an outpouring of God's love I've always had, but was never able to receive because of my godlessness. Thank you LORD for showing yourself to those who did not seek you! I know now it's for your Glory and not because of my merit apart from you. Please don't let me forget for your namesake and for me to remain with you in Christ Jesus name I pray amen!

Praying because I know God will hear my prayers. I keep fasting and praying for a break through. I’m a single mother with two children both are autistic, and non verbal so taking care of my boys are a lot of work. My husband died three years ago.Unfortunately. I’m all alone. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease)I was denied my religious/medical exemptions. I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed even accused of lying simply because I post comments asking for prayers. It hurts. I’m already so overwhelmed over my situation and to have christians be the ones that mocked me makes it hurt even more. My circumstances hasn’t been easy especially since I am all alone. want to give up because I’m overwhelmed but my children need me and my faith in God is too strong to quit. I have faith God will change my situation and prove abundantly. Please keep me in your prayers.

Can there be a podcast about feeling guilty for wanting marriage. At this point, Im ashamed and guilty for wanting marriage and not being a good enough Christian. I wish married Christians would be more careful with their words instead of belittling the desire for marriage. And for constantly telling us it’s better to be single, when they never bothered. Not all of us are called to singleness. How can we be expected to enjoy the single stage when we’re being told we’re wrong or lesser Christians for wanting marriage. I’m tired of having to DEFEND the desire and for being told that as a single person I should be doing More more more. But married people actually get to enjoy life. I know married don’t perfect but no one invalidates that it’s difficult. However they act like singleness is only lonely if you’re immature and lack trust in God, when in reality, it’s hard and we’re doing our best. Why are we always expected to do all the work while married people are busy having sex and babies. We deserve joy too.
The Bible tells us that God loves us (John 3:16) and that God is love (1 John 4:8, 16). The Bible also tells us that love is not self-seeking (1 Cor 13:5). So when God loves us, it is surely not a self-seeking thing. In other words, for God's love for us to be genuine love, it cannot be something that is a means to an end for God to gain something for himself as his single highest purpose. In still other words, love by definition GIVES as the highest purpose. Love is a giving thing by its very nature. If someone - whether God or a human being - gives for the ultimate purpose of getting something for himself, whatever else is going on, it isn't love. So surely God's purpose in loving us is not to give to us as a way for him to gain the pleasure of our worshipping him. To be sure, God DOES gain pleasure in our worshipping him, and it is also part of his purpose for him to gain pleasure himself. But this is not what his love is.
